حذّر سفير إيران لدى الأمم المتحدة أمير سعيد إيرفاني اليوم (الإثنين) من أي تعاون من دولة أخرى مع إسرائيل، مشدداً في رسالة إلى مجلس الأمن الدولي، من أن تعاون من دولة مع ضربات إسرائيل على إيران يجعلها متواطئة في المسؤولية القانونية وعواقب هذه الأزمة.
واعتبر إيرفاني الضربات الإيرانية على إسرائيل دفاعاً عن النفس، وأنها عمليات دفاعية متناسبة موجهة حصراً لأهداف عسكرية والبنية التحتية المرتبطة بها، تماشياً مع نص المادة 51 من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة التأسيسي الذي يشدد على ضرورة إبلاغ الدول مجلس الأمن المؤلف من 15 عضواً على الفور بأي إجراء تتخذه دفاعاً عن النفس من أي هجوم مسلح.
وتأتي الرسالة في الوقت الذي ذكرت هيئة البث الإسرائيلية أن تل أبيب طلبت رسمياً من الولايات المتحدة مساعدتها في الهجوم على منشأة فوردو النووية الإيرانية، كما طلبت مساعدة الأوروبيين في الدفاع واعتراض الصواريخ الإيرانية، مبينة أن إسرائيل تواصل الضغط من أجل إشراك أمريكا في الهجوم على إيران.
من جهة أخرى، أعلن رئيس مجلس النواب الأمريكي مايك جونسون اليوم، تأجيل زيارته التي كانت مقررة إلى إسرائيل لإلقاء الخطاب أمام البرلمان الإسرائيلي (الكنيست)، عازياً ذلك إلى الوضع المعقّد الذي تشهده كل من إيران وإسرائيل في الوقت الحالي.
وقال جونسون: قررتُ أنا ورئيس الكنيست أمير أوحانا تأجيل الجلسة، نتطلع إلى إعادة تحديد موعد الخطاب في المستقبل القريب، معلناً تعاطفه مع إسرائيل في الحرب المشتعلة بينها وبين إيران.

Iran's Ambassador to the United Nations Amir Saeed Iravani warned today (Monday) against any cooperation from another country with Israel, emphasizing in a message to the Security Council that cooperation from a country with Israeli strikes on Iran makes it complicit in the legal responsibility and consequences of this crisis.
Iravani considered the Iranian strikes on Israel as self-defense, stating that they are proportional defensive operations directed exclusively at military targets and the related infrastructure, in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter, which emphasizes the necessity for states to inform the 15-member Security Council immediately of any action they take in self-defense against any armed attack.
The message comes at a time when Israeli broadcasting authority reported that Tel Aviv has officially requested assistance from the United States in attacking the Iranian Fordow nuclear facility, as well as seeking help from Europeans in defending against and intercepting Iranian missiles, indicating that Israel continues to pressure for America's involvement in the attack on Iran.
On another note, U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson announced today the postponement of his planned visit to Israel to deliver a speech before the Israeli parliament (Knesset), attributing this to the complicated situation currently being experienced by both Iran and Israel.
Johnson said: "I and Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana have decided to postpone the session. We look forward to rescheduling the speech in the near future," expressing his sympathy with Israel in the ongoing war between it and Iran.
