وعندما سُئل ترمب عما إذا كانت لديه أي رغبة في ذلك، أجاب: «لا».
وقال الرئيس دونالد ترمب اليوم (السبت) بأنه ستكون هناك «عواقب وخيمة» إذا موّل قطب التكنولوجيا إيلون ماسك مرشحين ديمقراطيين لخوض الانتخابات ضد الجمهوريين الذين يصوتون لصالح مشروع قانون الميزانية الشامل للحزب الجمهوري.
وقال ترمب لشبكة إن بي سي نيوز في مقابلة هاتفية: «إذا فعل ذلك، فسيضطر إلى تحمل عواقبه»، لكنه رفض الكشف عن طبيعة تلك العواقب.
وأضاف: «سيُضطر لدفع عواقب وخيمة إن فعل ذلك».
وعندما سُئل عما إذا كان يعتقد أن علاقته بالرئيس التنفيذي لشركتي تسلا وسبيس إكس قد انتهت، أجاب ترمب: «أفترض ذلك، نعم».
وكان إيلون ماسك سعي لاحتواء التوتر العلني مع الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، وحذف اليوم منشوراً على منصة X، ربط اسم الرئيس بقضية جيفري إبستين، المُدان المنتحر، مما وضع الرئيس الأمريكي في موقف محرج.
كما ألمح ماسك، خلال اليومين الماضيين إلى أنه قد يخفف من حدة خلافه العلني مع ترمب، لافتاً إلى أنه سيتراجع عن تعهده بتفكيك مركبة دراغون الفضائية - التي تصنعها شركته سبيس إكس - في رسالة على منصة التواصل الاجتماعي X. واستجاب بشكل إيجابي لدعوة من زميله الملياردير بيل أكمان «للتصالح» مع الرئيس الأمريكي.

Musk also hinted over the past two days that he might ease his public feud with Trump, indicating that he would backtrack on his commitment to dismantle the Dragon spacecraft—produced by his company SpaceX—in a message on the social media platform X. He responded positively to a call from fellow billionaire Bill Ackman to "reconcile" with the U.S. president.
