كشف وزير الصحة السوداني المكلف في ولاية سنار إبراهيم العوض أحمد، اليوم (السبت)، انحسار وباء الكوليرا بولاية سنار الواقعة بوسط البلاد، مبيناً إن مركز العزل في سنجة أصبح خالياً من أي حالة، بينما تبقى 13 حالة بمركز عزل سنار.
وأعلن أحمد دخول ولاية سنار في حملة تطعيم ضد الكوليرا، مشيداً بتدخل مفوضية العون الإنساني بولاية سنار والمنظمات التي تكفلت ودعمت مراكز العزل في سنجة وسنار.
بدوره، أوضح مدير الإدارة العامة للطوارئ ومكافحة الأوبئة بصحة سنار محمد تاج الدين إن عدد حالات الاشتباه بالكوليرا حتى أمس (الجمعة) بلغ 91 حالة، منها 7 حالات وفاة و67 حالة شفاء و13 حالة بمركز عزل سنار وحالتان من الجزيرة وحالة من القضارف.
من جهتها، أكدت مدير الإدارة العامة للرعاية الصحية الأساسية بصحة سنار فاطمة محمد عبدالحليم، أن التدخلات مستمرة، من رش ضبابي ورذاذي وتعزيز صحة وسلامة مياه وإصحاح بيئي، مبينةً أن التدخلات التي تمت أدت لانحسار الكوليرا.
وقال مدير عام مستشفى سنار التعليمي المشرف على مركز العزل بسنار إن استقبال الحالات قل لدرجة كبيرة، مشيراً إلى أن الوضع بدأ يستقر، لافتاً إلى أن كل الكوادر متواجدة وتتابع الوضع أولاً بأول.
وكانت وزارة الصحة في ولاية الخرطوم قد أعلنت تسجيل 942 حالة إصابة جديدة و25 وفاة (الأربعاء)، غداة تسجيل 1,177 حالة إصابة و45 وفاة (الثلاثاء).

The acting Minister of Health in Sudan's Sennar State, Ibrahim Al-Awad Ahmed, revealed today (Saturday) that the cholera epidemic in Sennar State, located in the center of the country, has receded, indicating that the isolation center in Sinja is now free of any cases, while 13 cases remain at the Sennar isolation center.
Ahmed announced the launch of a vaccination campaign against cholera in Sennar State, praising the intervention of the Humanitarian Aid Commission in Sennar and the organizations that supported and funded the isolation centers in Sinja and Sennar.
For his part, the Director of the General Administration for Emergencies and Epidemic Control in Sennar Health, Mohamed Taj Al-Din, explained that the number of suspected cholera cases until yesterday (Friday) reached 91 cases, including 7 deaths, 67 recoveries, 13 cases at the Sennar isolation center, two cases from Al-Jazeera, and one case from Al-Qadarif.
Meanwhile, the Director of the General Administration for Primary Health Care in Sennar Health, Fatima Mohamed Abdel Halim, confirmed that interventions are ongoing, including fogging and spraying, enhancing the safety and health of water, and environmental sanitation, noting that the interventions carried out have led to a reduction in cholera cases.
The Director General of Sennar Teaching Hospital, overseeing the isolation center in Sennar, stated that the number of incoming cases has significantly decreased, indicating that the situation has begun to stabilize, and pointing out that all staff are present and monitoring the situation continuously.
The Ministry of Health in Khartoum State had announced the registration of 942 new cases and 25 deaths (on Wednesday), following the registration of 1,177 cases and 45 deaths (on Tuesday).
