أكد وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي اليوم (الخميس) أن مسألة العلاقات مع المملكة العربية السعودية باتت محط اهتمام جدي نظراً إلى التطورات الأخيرة، موضحاً أن طهران حريصة على استمرار العلاقات الثنائية وضمان عدم تأثر موسم الحج.
وقال عراقجي: «موضوع العلاقات مع السعودية يحظى باهتمام جدي نتيجة لما طرأ من مستجدات، وأنا على تواصل مع أصدقائنا في بعثة المرشد الأعلى، وكذلك مع هيئة الحج والزيارة، من أجل عدم حصول أي خلل في عملية إرسال الحجاج الإيرانيين أو الترتيبات المتعلقة بالحج»، مضيفاً: «نحن جادون تماماً في ما يخص العلاقات بين إيران والسعودية، سياسة الجوار التي بدأناها منذ فترة تُعد سياسة بالغة الأهمية، والمملكة العربية السعودية تحتل موقعاً بالغ الأهمية في هذه السياسة».
وأشار إلى أنهم سيواصلون علاقاتهم الأخوية ولن يسمحوا بحدوث أي خلل فيها.
The Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed today (Thursday) that the issue of relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has become a matter of serious concern due to recent developments, explaining that Tehran is keen on maintaining bilateral relations and ensuring that the Hajj season is not affected.
Araghchi said: "The issue of relations with Saudi Arabia is receiving serious attention due to the recent developments, and I am in contact with our friends in the Supreme Leader's mission, as well as with the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, to ensure that there is no disruption in the process of sending Iranian pilgrims or in the arrangements related to Hajj," adding: "We are completely serious regarding the relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia; the neighborhood policy we initiated some time ago is of great importance, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia occupies a very important position in this policy."
He pointed out that they will continue their brotherly relations and will not allow any disruption to occur.
