The Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, today sponsored the annual ceremony of the university and the graduation of (374) male and female students from (11) Arab countries from the 43rd batch, at the university's headquarters in Riyadh.

The President of the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, Dr. Abdulmajid Al-Bunyan, delivered a speech during the ceremony in which he expressed his gratitude and appreciation, on behalf of himself and the university staff, to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince, for the care and attention the university has received from the wise leadership, and for the support of the Minister of Interior, the honorary president of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud.

He indicated that the university takes pride in the scientific and educational services it has provided since its establishment in 1978, which have benefited tens of thousands of employees in Arab interior ministries, affirming that the university, through its new strategic plan for 2029, is determined to move forward in achieving its objectives aimed at being among the top security universities internationally.

In a special statement to "Okaz," Dr. Al-Bunyan said: "The university was honored today by the sponsorship and attendance of the Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, at the annual ceremony and the graduation of the 43rd batch. This day is the most important in the university's journey with the presence and participation of the Minister of Interior, sharing the joy of the graduating students, and also with the attendance of a large elite of the university's strategic partners."

He added: "The outcomes of the university came in accordance with its modern strategy, which was built on studying the needs of security and judicial agencies in Arab countries. Through this, the most in-demand specializations were identified, and the university worked on building strong academic and research partnerships in these fields. Today, we see the fruits of this in this ceremony with the graduation of the 43rd batch."

Al-Bunyan confirmed that the university is proud of the scientific and training programs it has offered since its establishment in 1978, which have benefited tens of thousands of employees in the interior ministries of Arab countries, pointing out that the university is moving forward in implementing its new strategy (2029), which aims to solidify its position among the leading security universities globally and enhance Arab security integration through scientific research and quality training.

In the same context, the Vice President of the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, Dr. Khalid Al-Harfash, explained to "Okaz" that "the graduation of the 43rd batch is not just an academic celebration, but a manifestation of a unified Arab vision in building an aware security human resource. The university's outcomes are the result of a modern strategy based on the needs of security and judicial agencies in Arab countries, which identified the most in-demand specializations and built scientific partnerships that enhance the concept of common Arab security."

For her part, the Director General of the International Organization for Migration, Amy Pope, delivered a speech in which she indicated that since 2009, the university and the organization have worked to address the most important challenges in the fields of migration and border management, and the Arab Center for Technical Cooperation in Migration and Border Management was established within the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, becoming a center for innovation and excellence.

She confirmed that the international events organized between the university and the organization, the research papers, and the capacity-building programs implemented contributed to establishing a global standard for migration management with insight and steadfast determination.

The Director General of the International Organization for Migration announced the launch of the second phase of the joint center—a commitment for 4 years to deepen and expand cooperation, noting that this phase will focus on expanding training programs, enhancing advanced research, and building stronger partnerships with regional and international entities.

During the ceremony, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud honored the former President of the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Saqr Al-Ghamdi, in recognition of his efforts and significant contributions to the development of the university's journey.

The graduates expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the Minister of Interior for his sponsorship and attendance at their graduation ceremony and for the support and attention he gives to their educational journey. The results of the graduates were then announced, followed by the students' procession.

The ceremony included a visual presentation about the university's journey, its academic and security achievements, and what it has accomplished in terms of scientific partnerships and quality initiatives at both the Arab and international levels.

After that, commemorative photos were taken on this occasion.
