أدانَت رابطةُ العالم الإسلامي، باستنكارٍ شديدٍ، الجرائمَ والانتهاكات المروّعة التي استهدفت المدنيين، خلال هجمات قوات الدعم السريع على مدينة الفاشر في جمهورية السودان.
وفي بيانٍ صادرٍ عن الأمانة العامة للرابطة، جدَّد الأمين العام رئيس هيئة علماء المسلمين الشيخ الدكتور محمد بن عبدالكريم العيسى، دعوةَ الرابطة الملحّة إلى الالتزام بمضامين «إعلان جدة» بشأن حماية المدنيين، وضرورة سلوك مسار الحوار الجاد والفاعل لوقف هذه الحرب المدمرة التي جرّت على الشعب السوداني الويلات والمآسي، ورفض كلّ ما يسهم في تأجيجها وإطالة أمدها وتداعياتها الخطيرة على الشعب السوداني ووحدته ومقدراته.
The Muslim World League strongly condemned the horrific crimes and violations targeting civilians during the Rapid Support Forces' attacks on the city of El Fasher in the Republic of Sudan.
In a statement issued by the League's General Secretariat, the Secretary-General and President of the Muslim Scholars Association, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, reiterated the League's urgent call to adhere to the principles of the "Jeddah Declaration" regarding the protection of civilians, and the necessity of pursuing a serious and effective dialogue to end this devastating war that has brought calamities and tragedies upon the Sudanese people. He rejected all that contributes to escalating and prolonging it, as well as its dangerous repercussions on the Sudanese people, their unity, and their resources.
