شهّرت وزارة التجارة بمالكة تموينات، إثر صدور حكم قضائي يدينها بمخالفة نظام مكافحة الغش التجاري بحيازة وعرض وبيع منتجات غذائية واستهلاكية منتهية الصلاحية.
وضبطت الفرق الرقابية للوزارة 90 منتجاً منتهي الصلاحية (حلويات، مكرونة، كيك، معطر) معروضة للبيع لدى المنشأة بمحافظة الطائف، وبناءً عليه تم مصادرتها وإتلافها واتخاذ الإجراءات النظامية وفقاً لأحكام نظام مكافحة الغش التجاري.
وتضمن الحكم المؤيد من محكمة الاستئناف بمنطقة مكة المكرمة فرض غرامة مالية قدرها 700 ريال، وإغلاق المنشأة لمدة شهر، ونشر الحكم على نفقة المخالفة.
وتؤكد «التجارة» التصدي لمخالفي نظام مكافحة الغش التجاري وتطبيق العقوبات النظامية ضدهم، حيث ينص النظام على فرض عقوبات تصل إلى السجن 3 سنوات، وغرامات مالية تصل إلى مليون ريال أو بهما معًا، والتشهير بالمخالفين.
The Ministry of Commerce has publicly named the owner of a grocery store following a court ruling that convicted her of violating the Anti-Commercial Fraud Law by possessing, displaying, and selling expired food and consumer products.
The ministry's monitoring teams seized 90 expired products (sweets, pasta, cake, air fresheners) that were displayed for sale at the establishment in Taif, and accordingly, they were confiscated and destroyed, and legal actions were taken in accordance with the provisions of the Anti-Commercial Fraud Law.
The ruling, upheld by the Court of Appeals in the Makkah region, imposed a fine of 700 riyals, closed the establishment for one month, and required the judgment to be published at the expense of the violator.
The Ministry of Commerce reaffirms its commitment to combating violations of the Anti-Commercial Fraud Law and applying legal penalties against offenders, as the law stipulates penalties of up to 3 years in prison, fines of up to one million riyals, or both, along with publicizing the names of the violators.
