التقى الأمين العام لرابطة العالم الإسلامي، رئيس هيئة علماء المسلمين الشيخ الدكتور محمد عبدالكريم العيسى، وفد علماء السودان، بحضور رئيس وزراء السودان الدكتور كامل الطيب إدريس.
ويأتي اللقاء في إطار الزيارة الرسمية التي أجراها الأمين العام لجمهورية السودان، التي شهدَت لقاءاتٍ عدة واتفاقياتٍ ثُنائيةً حول جُملة من القضايا الشرعية والاجتماعية والثقافية والإغاثية والتنموية.
وجرى خلال اللقاء مناقشة الموضوعات ذات الاهتمام المُشترَك، لا سيّما دور العلماء في تعزيز اللُّحمة الوطنية والوعي الدينيّ لدى كافّة مكوّنات المجتمع السوداني.
The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Abdulkarim Al-Issa, met with a delegation of Sudanese scholars, in the presence of the Prime Minister of Sudan, Dr. Kamil Al-Tayeb Idris.
The meeting comes as part of the official visit conducted by the Secretary-General to the Republic of Sudan, which included several meetings and bilateral agreements on a range of religious, social, cultural, humanitarian, and developmental issues.
During the meeting, topics of mutual interest were discussed, particularly the role of scholars in promoting national unity and religious awareness among all components of Sudanese society.
