رأس مدير الأمن العام الفريق محمد البسامي وفد المملكة العربية السعودية المشارك في مؤتمر القمة الدولية للشرطة (IPS 2025)، الذي عُقد في مدينة سيئول بجمهورية كوريا الجنوبية، بتنظيم من الوكالة الوطنية للشرطة الكورية (KNPA)، خلال الفترة من 21 إلى 24 أكتوبر 2025.
ويُعد المؤتمر أحد أبرز الفعاليات العالمية المتخصصة في مجال الأمن وإنفاذ القانون، يجتمع فيه قادة الشرطة والأمن من مختلف دول العالم، وممثلو المنظمات الدولية والخبراء الأمنيون ومراكز البحوث، لمناقشة القضايا الأمنية المستجدة والتحديات العابرة للحدود، والأمن السيبراني والتحول الرقمي والابتكارات التقنية المؤثرة في العمل الأمني.
وتناولت جلسات القمة عدداً من المحاور الرئيسة، أبرزها تحالفات الشرطة لمواجهة الجريمة العابرة للحدود، ومستقبل الاستجابة الشرطية في ظل الذكاء الاصطناعي، وحوكمة الشرطة العالمية، إلى جانب الاجتماعات الثنائية والورش والمعرض الأمني المصاحب.
The Director of Public Security, Lieutenant General Muhammad Al-Basami, headed the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia participating in the International Police Summit (IPS 2025), which was held in Seoul, South Korea, organized by the Korean National Police Agency (KNPA), from October 21 to 24, 2025.
The conference is considered one of the most prominent global events specialized in the field of security and law enforcement, where police and security leaders from various countries gather, along with representatives of international organizations, security experts, and research centers, to discuss emerging security issues, cross-border challenges, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and technological innovations impacting security work.
The summit sessions addressed several key topics, most notably police alliances to combat transnational crime, the future of police response in the era of artificial intelligence, global police governance, in addition to bilateral meetings, workshops, and the accompanying security exhibition.
