اعتمدت وزارة السياحة التعديلات على جداول المخالفات والعقوبات الخاصة بمرافق الضيافة السياحية ومرافق الضيافة السياحية الخاصة، والأنشطة السياحية وإدارة مرافق الضيافة، والإرشاد السياحي والأنشطة التجريبية في القطاع السياحي، وذلك في إطار جهودها المستمرة لتعزيز الامتثال للأنظمة واللوائح، والارتقاء بجودة الخدمات المقدمة للسياح والزوار في مختلف الوجهات السياحية بمدن ومناطق المملكة.
وجاءت التعديلات الجديدة في إطار مساعي الوزارة لتعزيز كفاءة المنظومة الرقابية، ورفع جودة الخدمات المقدمة من خلال تحديد العقوبات وفق معايير دقيقة تشمل النطاق الجغرافي وحجم المنشأة، بما يضمن عدالة التطبيق وتناسب العقوبة مع حجم المنشأة، وطبيعة المخالفة، في خطوة تهدف إلى دعم المنشآت الصغيرة والمتوسطة، وضمان امتثالها لنظام السياحة.
وشملت التعديلات إضافة تصنيف خاص للمخالفات الجسيمة، لضمان التعامل العادل والصارم مع التجاوزات المؤثرة في القطاع السياحي، إلى جانب تطبيق مبدأ الإنذار للمخالفات غير الجسيمة مع إعطاء مهلة تصحيحية لمعالجة المخالفة، في خطوة تهدف إلى إتاحة فرصة تصحيح المسار قبل فرض العقوبة المقررة، بما يسهم في الارتقاء بجودة الخدمات المقدمة وتحقيق معايير السلامة المعتمدة، وضمان حقوق السياح والزوار.
The Ministry of Tourism has adopted amendments to the tables of violations and penalties related to tourism hospitality facilities, private tourism hospitality facilities, tourism activities, hospitality facility management, tourism guidance, and experiential activities in the tourism sector. This is part of its ongoing efforts to enhance compliance with regulations and laws, and to improve the quality of services provided to tourists and visitors in various tourist destinations across the cities and regions of the Kingdom.
The new amendments came as part of the ministry's efforts to enhance the efficiency of the regulatory system and to raise the quality of services provided by defining penalties according to precise criteria that include the geographical scope and size of the establishment. This ensures fairness in application and that the penalty is proportional to the size of the establishment and the nature of the violation, in a step aimed at supporting small and medium-sized enterprises and ensuring their compliance with the tourism system.
The amendments included the addition of a special classification for serious violations to ensure fair and strict handling of breaches affecting the tourism sector, along with the application of a warning principle for non-serious violations, granting a corrective grace period to address the violation. This step aims to provide an opportunity to correct the course before imposing the prescribed penalty, contributing to the enhancement of the quality of services provided and achieving the approved safety standards, while ensuring the rights of tourists and visitors.
