شارك أمراء ونواب المناطق ووزراء ومحافظون ومسؤولون ومواطنون ومقيمون، أمس، في التبرع بالدم، اقتداءً بتبرع ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، الذي أطلق الحملة الوطنية للتبرع بالدم.
ونوّه المشاركون بتبرع ولي العهد ودعمه المستمر للحملة، مؤكدين أن المبادرة تجسّد اهتمامه بصحة المواطنين والمقيمين، ودعمه للمبادرات الإنسانية، وتعزيز قيم العطاء والتكافل المجتمعي.
وأشاروا إلى أن دعم ولي العهد للحملة يسهم في رفع الوعي بأهمية التبرع التطوعي، وتشجيع أفراد المجتمع على المشاركة في تلبية حاجات المرضى والمصابين، وتوفير إمدادات آمنة من الدم للمستشفيات في مختلف مناطق المملكة، بما يدعم الخدمات الصحية ويساعد في التعامل مع الحالات الطارئة. وأكدوا أهمية مواصلة نشر الوعي بأهمية التبرع بالدم وتعزيز الإسهام المجتمعي، داعين إلى المشاركة الفاعلة في الحملة والمبادرة إلى التبرع، لافتين إلى أن كل قطرة دم تسهم في إنقاذ حياة إنسان، وتجسّد قيم التضامن والعطاء والمسؤولية المجتمعية.
900 ألف متبرع في حملة 2025
وتأتي الحملة الوطنية السنوية للتبرع بالدم لعام 2026م، التي أطلقها ولي العهد امتدادًا لدعم المبادرات الإنسانية والصحية وتعزيز التبرع الطوعي، بما يسهم في توفير إمدادات آمنة ومستدامة من الدم ومكوّناته وتلبية احتياجات المرضى في مختلف مناطق المملكة.
وتجاوز عدد المتبرعين بالدم خلال عام 2025م، أكثر من 900 ألف متبرع، في إطار جهود تعزيز استدامة مخزون الدم الوطني، بما ينسجم مع مستهدفات برنامج تحول القطاع الصحي ورؤية السعودية 2030.
وكانت حملة 2025م، قد أسهمت في مضاعفة عدد المتبرعين أربع مرات، وتسجيل أكثر من 65 ألف متبرع، بنسبة تبرع طوعي بلغت 100%، فيما تجاوزت نسبة المتبرعين الجدد 85%. واستفاد من وحدات الدم أكثر من 63 ألف شخص، إلى جانب 10 آلاف مستفيد من الصفائح الدموية ومثلهم من البلازما، بما عزز جاهزية بنوك الدم ورسّخ التبرع الطوعي سلوكًا مجتمعيًا مستدامًا.
Princes, regional deputies, ministers, governors, officials, citizens, and residents participated yesterday in a blood donation drive, following the donation made by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, who launched the national blood donation campaign.
The participants praised the Crown Prince's donation and his ongoing support for the campaign, affirming that the initiative reflects his concern for the health of citizens and residents, his support for humanitarian initiatives, and the promotion of values of giving and community solidarity.
They pointed out that the Crown Prince's support for the campaign contributes to raising awareness about the importance of voluntary donation, encouraging community members to participate in meeting the needs of patients and the injured, and providing safe blood supplies to hospitals in various regions of the Kingdom, which supports health services and helps in dealing with emergency cases. They emphasized the importance of continuing to raise awareness about the significance of blood donation and enhancing community contribution, calling for active participation in the campaign and initiating donations, noting that every drop of blood contributes to saving a life and embodies the values of solidarity, giving, and social responsibility.
900,000 donors in the 2025 campaign
The annual national blood donation campaign for the year 2026, launched by the Crown Prince, is an extension of support for humanitarian and health initiatives and promoting voluntary donation, contributing to providing safe and sustainable supplies of blood and its components to meet the needs of patients in various regions of the Kingdom.
The number of blood donors during the year 2025 exceeded more than 900,000 donors, as part of efforts to enhance the sustainability of the national blood stock, in line with the targets of the Health Sector Transformation Program and Saudi Vision 2030.
The 2025 campaign contributed to quadrupling the number of donors, recording more than 65,000 donors, with a voluntary donation rate of 100%, while the percentage of new donors exceeded 85%. More than 63,000 individuals benefited from blood units, along with 10,000 beneficiaries from platelets and the same number from plasma, which enhanced the readiness of blood banks and established voluntary donation as a sustainable community behavior.
