وصف المفتي العام للمملكة، رئيس هيئة كبار العلماء والرئيس العام للبحوث العلمية والإفتاء الشيخ الدكتور صالح فوزان الفوزان، تبرع ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، بالدم وإطلاقه الحملة الوطنية للتبرع بالدم، بأنها مبادرة كريمة تؤكد حرص ولاة الأمر على حفظ الأنفس ونفع الناس، وتقدّم للمجتمع قدوة عملية في البذل والإحسان، امتثالاً لقول الله تعالى: ﴿وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا﴾.
وبيّن أن التبرع بالدم عمل مشروع ومن التعاون على البر والتقوى، وصورة من صور التكافل والتراحم التي حث عليها الإسلام، لما فيه من تحقيق لمقصد حفظ النفس، حاثاً المواطنين والمقيمين على المبادرة بالمشاركة في الحملة، احتساباً للأجر وإسهاماً في سد حاجة المرضى وإنقاذ الأرواح.
وسأل الله أن يحفظ خادم الحرمين الشريفين وولي عهده، وأن يجعل ما يبذله المتبرعون في موازين حسناتهم، ويحفظ البلاد ويديم عليها نعمة الأمن والإيمان.
The Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars and the General President for Scientific Research and Ifta, Sheikh Dr. Saleh Fawzan Al-Fawzan, described the donation of blood by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the launch of the national blood donation campaign as a noble initiative that confirms the leaders' commitment to preserving lives and benefiting people. It provides the community with a practical example of generosity and benevolence, in compliance with the saying of Allah Almighty: ﴿And whoever saves one [life] - it is as if he had saved mankind entirely﴾.
He indicated that donating blood is a legitimate act and a form of cooperation in righteousness and piety, as well as a manifestation of solidarity and compassion encouraged by Islam, as it achieves the objective of preserving life. He urged citizens and residents to take the initiative to participate in the campaign, seeking reward and contributing to meeting the needs of patients and saving lives.
He asked Allah to protect the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince, to make the contributions of donors weigh in their favor on the Day of Judgment, and to safeguard the country and continue to bestow upon it the blessing of security and faith.
