اجتمع وزير الاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات المهندس عبدالله بن عامر السواحه في البيت الأبيض، مع المستشار الخاص لشؤون الذكاء الاصطناعي والعملات الرقمية ديفيد ساكس؛ لتعزيز الشراكة الإستراتيجية بين المملكة العربية السعودية والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية في مجالات الذكاء الاصطناعي والتقنية والابتكار، واستكشاف فرص تسريع منظومة الابتكار وتعزيز ريادة البلدين في التقنيات المتقدمة، بحضور سفيرة خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية الأميرة ريما بنت بندر بن سلطان.
وفي لقاء آخر، اجتمع السواحه في البيت الأبيض مع رئيس مكتب سياسات العلوم والتقنية مايكل كراتسيوس؛ لمناقشة تطوير السياسات الابتكارية المشتركة، ودعم منظومة العلوم والتقنيات الحديثة، واستكشاف الفرص الواعدة لتسريع الابتكار في المجالات المستقبلية.
The Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Engineer Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha, met at the White House with the Special Advisor for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Currencies, David Sachs; to enhance the strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America in the fields of artificial intelligence, technology, and innovation, and to explore opportunities to accelerate the innovation ecosystem and strengthen the leadership of both countries in advanced technologies, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United States of America, Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan.
In another meeting, Al-Swaha met at the White House with the Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy, Michael Kratsios; to discuss the development of joint innovative policies, support for the modern science and technology ecosystem, and explore promising opportunities to accelerate innovation in future fields.
