تمكَّنت الدوريات الساحلية لحرس الحدود من ضبط مواطنٍ مخالفٍ لنظام البيئة، لارتكابه مخالفة الشروع في الصيد دون ترخيص بمحافظة حقل في منطقة تبوك، بحوزته بندقية شوزن، و8 ذخائر حيّة، وتم تطبيق الإجراءات النظامية بحقه.
وشدّدت المديرية العامة لحرس الحدود على الالتزام بنظام البيئة ولوائحه التنفيذية التي تجرم صيد الكائنات الفطرية دون ترخيص، مؤكدةً أن عقوبة الصيد في أماكن محظور الصيد البري فيها غرامة (5,000) ريال، وعقوبة الصيد دون ترخيص غرامة (10,000) ريال، وعقوبة استخدام بنادق الشوزن في الصيد غرامة (100,000) ريال.
وأهابت في الوقت ذاته بالمبادرة بالإبلاغ عن أي حالات تمثل اعتداءً على البيئة أو الحياة الفطرية، وذلك بالاتصال بالرقم (911) في مناطق مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة والرياض والشرقية، و(999) و(996) في بقية مناطق المملكة.

At the same time, it urged the public to report any cases that represent an assault on the environment or wildlife by calling (911) in the Makkah, Medina, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the Kingdom's regions.
