تلقى ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، اتصالاً هاتفياً اليوم، من رئيس الجمهورية الفرنسية إيمانويل ماكرون.
وجرى خلال الاتصال بحث التعاون القائم بين البلدين في عدد من المجالات، كما تم بحث عدد من القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
كما جرى خلال الاتصال استعراض تطورات الأوضاع في قطاع غزة والجهود المبذولة لإنهاء الحرب في القطاع، وتعزيز جهود إحلال الأمن والاستقرار بمنطقة الشرق الأوسط.
وتم التأكيد على ضرورة رفع المعاناة الإنسانية فوراً عن الشعب الفلسطيني الشقيق، والانسحاب الإسرائيلي الكامل، كما تم الاتفاق على أهمية البدء في خطوات عملية لتحقيق السلام العادل على أساس حل الدولتين.
Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman received a phone call today from the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron.
During the call, they discussed the existing cooperation between the two countries in several fields, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest.
The call also reviewed the developments in the Gaza Strip and the efforts being made to end the war in the region, and to enhance efforts to achieve security and stability in the Middle East.
It was emphasized that the humanitarian suffering of the Palestinian people must be alleviated immediately, and a complete Israeli withdrawal was called for. They also agreed on the importance of starting practical steps to achieve a just peace based on the two-state solution.
