أمير جازان يلتقي وزير التعليم ويدشّن مشروعات تعليمية بأكثر من مليار ريال

The Emir of Jazan Region, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, met today in his office at the emirate with the Minister of Education, Yusuf bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan, and the accompanying delegation.

During the reception, (89) educational projects were launched at a cost exceeding (290) million riyals, and the foundation stone was laid for (24) projects with a total cost of (754) million riyals.

The Emir of Jazan confirmed that these projects reflect the generous support and great interest that the leadership gives to the development of education and the provision of integrated educational environments that contribute to preparing a conscious, educated, and globally competitive generation capable of serving its religion and homeland.

He praised the efforts of the Minister of Education and the leadership of the ministry and the General Administration of Education in the region in developing the educational environment and improving the quality of services provided to male and female students, in a way that meets the aspirations of the leadership.

The projects launched today included the establishment of (8) engineering projects comprising (146) classrooms with a capacity exceeding (4000) male and female students, the rehabilitation of (34) school buildings in housing complexes, in addition to the rehabilitation of (13) buildings in border governorates, the establishment of (5) sports halls, and the conversion of (12) administrative buildings into schools, in addition to carrying out emergency maintenance for (29) school buildings and improving school transport services in the mountainous sector "Fifa - Al-Rith" by providing more than (100) school buses.

The projects also included laying the foundation stone for (24) educational projects with a total cost of (754) million riyals, which included the establishment of (9) school buildings as part of housing projects in the Abdullah bin Abdulaziz neighborhood, comprising (236) classrooms, with a capacity exceeding (7000) male and female students, and the establishment of (8) sports halls, in addition to integrated facility service contracts and the rehabilitation of (6) school buildings.

For his part, the Minister of Education expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the leadership for its continuous support for education, and to the Emir of Jazan Region for his interest and follow-up on educational projects in the region, considering that this embodies the leadership's commitment to developing education and enhancing its quality in various regions of the Kingdom.

He explained that these projects are the result of the integration between the Ministry of Education and the "Tawteen for Buildings" company to support the educational environment, raise the quality of outputs, increase capacity, and enhance sustainable development in the education sector, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

Attending the meeting and the inauguration ceremonies was the Deputy Emir of Jazan, Walid bin Sultan Al-Sunaai.
