التقى أمير منطقة جازان الأمير محمد بن عبدالعزيز بن محمد بن عبدالعزيز مدير عام السجون بالمملكة اللواء الدكتور فهد العصيمي، يرافقه مدير سجون المنطقة اللواء الدكتور شايع القحطاني وعدد من قيادات السجون.
وجرى خلال اللقاء بحث أعمال المديرية العامة للسجون بالمنطقة، ومناقشة الخدمات والبرامج الإصلاحية المقدمة للنزلاء، وآليات تطوير بيئة العمل ورفع مستوى الأداء، بما يسهم في تحقيق الأهداف المنشودة وفق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
وأكّد أمير جازان على أهمية استمرار تطوير منظومة العمل في سجون المنطقة وتعزيز البرامج الإصلاحية والتأهيلية، مشيدًا بالجهود المبذولة لإعادة تأهيل النزلاء ودمجهم في المجتمع، فيما أعرب اللواء العصيمي عن شكره وتقديره لأمير المنطقة على دعمه واهتمامه بأعمال السجون.
كما التقى أمير جازان برئيس مجلس جمعية الأدب في المنطقة حسن الصلهبي وأعضاء المجلس.
واستمع خلال اللقاء إلى شرح مفصل عن أعمال الجمعية وبرامجها الثقافية والأدبية، ودورها في رعاية الحركة الأدبية بالمنطقة، ودعم المواهب الشابة.
وأكد على أهمية مواصلة الجهود لتعزيز الحراك الثقافي في المنطقة، وإبراز الإرث الأدبي والثقافي الذي تزخر به جازان، مشيداً بما تقدمه الجمعية من مبادرات وبرامج نوعية.

The Emir of the Jazan region, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, met with the Director General of Prisons in the Kingdom, Major General Dr. Fahd Al-Asimi, accompanied by the Director of Prisons in the region, Major General Dr. Shaya Al-Qahtani, and several prison leaders.
During the meeting, they discussed the work of the General Directorate of Prisons in the region, the services and rehabilitation programs provided to inmates, and the mechanisms for developing the work environment and improving performance, in a way that contributes to achieving the desired goals in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
The Emir of Jazan emphasized the importance of continuing to develop the work system in the region's prisons and enhancing rehabilitation and reform programs, praising the efforts made to rehabilitate inmates and integrate them into society. Major General Al-Asimi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Emir for his support and interest in prison affairs.
The Emir of Jazan also met with the Chairman of the Literature Association in the region, Hassan Al-Sulhabi, and the members of the council.
During the meeting, he listened to a detailed explanation about the association's activities, its cultural and literary programs, and its role in nurturing the literary movement in the region and supporting young talents.
He emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to enhance cultural activity in the region and highlighting the literary and cultural heritage that Jazan is rich in, commending the initiatives and quality programs offered by the association.
