تمكّنت وزارة الصحة بالتعاون مع الجهات الأمنية، وفي إطار جهودها الرقابية المستمرة لحماية صحة المجتمع، من ضبط وافد من جنسية عربية في منطقة الحدود الشمالية، لممارسته المهنة الصحية دون ترخيص، والترويج لها في وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي.
وأوضحت الوزارة أن المخالف كان يتنقل بسيارته الخاصة بين منازل المرضى لمزاولة أنشطة صحية شملت: العلاج الوظيفي، وتقويم الأعصاب، ومتابعة ما بعد الجلطات، وعلاج الدسك، وحالات الإعياء العام، في مخالفة صريحة لنظام مزاولة المهن الصحية وتعريض حياة المرضى للخطر.
وأكدت أنه جرى ضبط المخالف بالتنسيق مع الجهات الأمنية، وإحالته إلى النيابة العامة لاستكمال الإجراءات النظامية بحقه، مضيفةً أن العقوبات بحقه قد تصل إلى السجن 6 أشهر وغرامة مالية قد تصل إلى (100) ألف ريال.
وشددت «الصحة» على أنها لن تتهاون في تطبيق الأنظمة على أي ممارسات مخالفة، وستواصل تكثيف حملاتها الرقابية لحماية المجتمع وضمان سلامته، موضحةً أن ما يُضْبَط لتلك الممارسات يهدف بالدرجة الأولى إلى ضمان أن تكون الرعاية الصحية مقدمة من مختصين مؤهلين، وفي منشآت صحية مرخّصة لذلك، داعيةً المواطنين والمقيمين إلى الإبلاغ الفوري عن أي مخالفات أو ممارسات صحية غير نظامية عبر مركز الاتصال الموحد (937)، مؤكدة أن وعي المجتمع وتعاونه يمثلان خط الدفاع الأول ضد هذه التجاوزات.
The Ministry of Health, in collaboration with security authorities, has succeeded in apprehending an expatriate of Arab nationality in the Northern Borders region for practicing a health profession without a license and promoting it on social media.
The ministry clarified that the violator was moving in his private car between patients' homes to engage in health activities that included: occupational therapy, nerve rehabilitation, post-stroke follow-up, disc treatment, and general fatigue cases, in clear violation of the health professions practice system and endangering patients' lives.
It confirmed that the violator was apprehended in coordination with security authorities and referred to the Public Prosecution to complete the legal procedures against him, adding that the penalties could reach up to 6 months in prison and a financial fine of up to (100,000) riyals.
The Ministry of Health emphasized that it will not tolerate any violations and will continue to intensify its monitoring campaigns to protect the community and ensure its safety, explaining that what is seized from such practices primarily aims to ensure that healthcare is provided by qualified specialists in licensed health facilities. It urged citizens and residents to immediately report any violations or illegal health practices through the unified contact center (937), affirming that community awareness and cooperation represent the first line of defense against these transgressions.
