شهدت سماء مدينة عرعر بمنطقة الحدود الشمالية، مساء اليوم، ظاهرة فلكية تمثلت في اقتران القمر بكوكب المريخ، إلى جانب رصد مذنب C/2025 R2 الذي ظهر كبقعة ضوئية خافتة، ويُعد من المذنبات المكتشفة حديثا يوم الجمعة 12 سبتمبر 2025.
وأوضح عضو نادي الفلك والفضاء عدنان خليفة أن المذنب جرى اكتشافه بواسطة أداة خاصة على متن المسبار الفضائي (SOHO) المخصص لمراقبة الشمس، قبل أن يؤكد رصده لاحقا الفلكيون والهواة حول العالم.
وأشار خليفة إلى أن مثل هذه الظواهر تُسهم في تعزيز الاهتمام بعلم الفلك لدى الهواة والباحثين، وتمنح فرصة لرصد الأجرام السماوية والتعرّف على حركتها في الفضاء.
This evening, the sky over the city of Arar in the Northern Borders region witnessed an astronomical phenomenon represented by the conjunction of the moon with the planet Mars, alongside the observation of comet C/2025 R2, which appeared as a faint light spot. It is considered one of the recently discovered comets on Friday, September 12, 2025.
Adnan Khalifa, a member of the Astronomy and Space Club, explained that the comet was discovered using a special instrument aboard the solar observation spacecraft (SOHO), before astronomers and amateurs around the world later confirmed its sighting.
Khalifa pointed out that such phenomena contribute to enhancing interest in astronomy among amateurs and researchers, providing an opportunity to observe celestial bodies and learn about their movements in space.
