يُجسّد الجود السعودي صورةً متأصلةً في الهوية الوطنية للمملكة، إذ تتوارث الأجيال القيم والتقاليد الاصيلة، ويظهر ذلك في صور التضامن الإنساني مع شعوب المنطقة والعالم، من خلال التبرع للجمعيات الخيرية، وحملات التبرع بالدم التي يشارك فيها مئات الآلاف سنوياً، إذ تجاوزت قيمة التبرعات الإلكترونية للأعمال الخيرية في المملكة نحو 2 مليار ريال خلال عام 2023 بحسب بيانات رسمية.
ولا يقتصر الكرم على المجتمع فحسب، بل يمتد إلى سياسات الدولة وجهودها الإغاثية، إذ يُعد مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية نموذجاً عالمياً للعطاء؛ حيث نفّذ أكثر من 2500 مشروع في أكثر من 90 دولة بقيمة قاربت ستة مليارات دولار حتى نهاية عام 2023.
وقال المتحدث الرسمي لمركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية: إن هذه الجهود الإغاثية تنبع من قيم المجتمع السعودي الراسخة في العطاء والإنسانية، وتأتي ترجمةً لرؤية المملكة في تعزيز دورها الريادي عالمياً في العمل الإنساني، فهذا الإرث الإنساني يعكس ثقافة سعودية أصيلة تحوّلت إلى هوية وطنية تعرّف المملكة في الداخل والخارج.

The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works is a global model of giving; it has implemented more than 2,500 projects in over 90 countries, with a value approaching six billion dollars by the end of 2023.
