The Minister of Justice, Dr. Walid Al-Samaani, met in his office in Riyadh with the Chairperson of the Human Rights Commission, Dr. Hala Al-Tuwaijri. During the meeting, they reviewed the most significant developments in the judicial sector across all its fields and their direct impact on enhancing and protecting human rights.

The minister highlighted the attention and care that the leadership gives to the judicial facility, which has positively reflected on the development of the judicial system and the improvement of the efficiency and quality of services, as well as enhancing judicial guarantees.

Al-Samaani emphasized the ministry's interest in human rights through adopting supportive judicial initiatives and integrating roles with various relevant entities, pointing to the role of the specialized legislative system announced by the Crown Prince and what it represents as a qualitative leap in establishing the protection of human rights by laying down principles of justice, transparency, and ensuring and safeguarding rights.

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Justice has undertaken several initiatives aimed at supporting and enhancing human rights through the development of judicial systems and services.
