التقى وزير الدفاع الأمير خالد بن سلمان، في الرياض اليوم، قائد القيادة المركزية الأمريكية الفريق الأول براد كوبر.
وجرى خلال اللقاء استعراض أوجه التعاون الثنائي بين البلدين الصديقين في المجالات العسكرية والدفاعية، وبحث مستجدات الأحداث في المنطقة والجهود المشتركة تجاهها بما يحافظ على الأمن والسلم الدوليين.
حضر اللقاء رئيس هيئة الأركان العامة الفريق الأول الركن فياض بن حامد الرويلي، وقائد القوات المشتركة الفريق الركن فهد بن حمد السلمان، ومستشار وزير الدفاع لشؤون الاستخبارات هشام بن عبدالعزيز بن سيف.
فيما حضره من الجانب الأمريكي القائمة بالأعمال في سفارة الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية لدى المملكة أليسون ديلورث، وعدد من المسؤولين.
Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman met today in Riyadh with the Commander of the U.S. Central Command, General Eric Kurilla.
During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries in military and defense fields, and discussed the latest developments in the region and the joint efforts towards them to maintain international peace and security.
The meeting was attended by Chief of General Staff General Fayyad bin Hamid Al-Ruwaili, Commander of the Joint Forces Lieutenant General Fahd bin Hamad Al-Sulami, and the Minister of Defense's Advisor for Intelligence Affairs Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif.
From the American side, it was attended by the Chargé d'Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in the Kingdom, Allison Delor, along with several officials.
