وزير الداخلية يزور مقر الإدارة العامة لخفر السواحل الكويتية

The Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, visited yesterday the headquarters of the General Administration of Coast Guard at the Sabah Al-Ahmad Naval Base in the State of Kuwait.

He was received by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah. During the visit, the Minister of Interior listened to an explanation from the Director General of the General Administration of Coast Guard, Brigadier General Maritime Sheikh Mubarak Ali Yusuf Al-Sabah, regarding the administration's tasks, work mechanisms, and the latest technical equipment and technologies used.


The Minister of Interior was briefed on the most significant works and achievements of the Kuwaiti Coast Guard, as well as the advanced security devices, equipment, and capabilities within the maritime security system to protect the territorial waters. He also reviewed the maritime operations room and the control room dedicated to field mission management.

At the end of the tour, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud praised the progress witnessed by the Kuwaiti Coast Guard in its performance, technical system, and operational capabilities, wishing them continued success and further advancement.

Accompanying the Minister of Interior during the visit were the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the State of Kuwait, Prince Sultan bin Saad bin Khalid, Assistant Minister of Interior Dr. Hisham Abdulrahman Al-Falih, Director General of Public Security Lieutenant General Muhammad Abdullah Al-Basami, Director General of the Minister's Office for Studies and Research Major General Khalid Ibrahim Al-Arawan, Director General of Border Guard Major General Rakan Shaya' Salem Al-Wad'ani, and Director General of Legal Affairs and International Cooperation Ahmed Suleiman Al-Essa.
