وقعت المملكة العربية السعودية والمكتب الدولي للمعارض «اتفاقية الامتيازات والمزايا الممنوحة للمشاركين الدوليين» (SEE Agreement) لترسيخ الإطار القانوني والإداري المُنظم لمشاركة الدول والمنظمات الدولية، بما يوفر الدعم اللازم لهم في مختلف مراحل استعداداتهم للمشاركة في إكسبو 2030 الرياض.
وجرت مراسم التوقيع على هامش زيارة ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز إلى الجمهورية الفرنسية.
وقع الاتفاقية وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان، والأمين العام للمكتب الدولي للمعارض ديمتري كيركنتزس، بحضور الرئيس التنفيذي لإكسبو 2030 الرياض المهندس طلال المرّي.
وتهدف الاتفاقية إلى إرساء الأسس القانونية والإدارية لمشاركة الدول والمنظمات الدولية في إكسبو 2030 الرياض، بما يمنح المشاركين إطاراً واضحاً للمضي قدماً في استعداداتهم عبر مختلف مراحل التصميم والإنشاء والتشغيل، وتجسيداً لحرص إكسبو 2030 الرياض على ترسيخ التعاون الدولي وتعزيز الشراكات مع الدول والمنظمات المشاركة، وتوفير أساسٍ واضح للمضي في استعداداتها بثقة، في ظل ما تحظى به من دعم وتنسيق في مختلف مراحل المشاركة.
وتُنظم الاتفاقية الجوانب العملية المرتبطة بمشاركة الدول والمنظمات الدولية وفرق عملها، بما يشمل ترتيبات السفر والتأشيرات والتسهيلات الضريبية والجمركية وخدمات التنقل، إلى جانب المتطلبات الفنية والإدارية، وبما يسهم في تيسير الإجراءات وتخفيف الأعباء الإدارية على المشاركين، ويُمهد لمشاركة فاعلة للدول والمنظمات الدولية في هذا الحدث العالمي، لضمان تجربة مشاركة أكثر سلاسة وكفاءة قبل انطلاق إكسبو 2030 الرياض وطوال فترة انعقاده.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the International Exhibitions Bureau signed the "Agreement on Privileges and Benefits Granted to International Participants" (SEE Agreement) to establish the legal and administrative framework governing the participation of countries and international organizations, providing them with the necessary support at various stages of their preparations for Expo 2030 Riyadh.
The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the visit of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz to the French Republic.
The agreement was signed by Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and the Secretary-General of the International Exhibitions Bureau Dimitri Kerkentzes, in the presence of the CEO of Expo 2030 Riyadh, Engineer Talal Al-Murri.
The agreement aims to lay the legal and administrative foundations for the participation of countries and international organizations in Expo 2030 Riyadh, providing participants with a clear framework to move forward in their preparations through various stages of design, construction, and operation. This reflects Expo 2030 Riyadh's commitment to establishing international cooperation and enhancing partnerships with participating countries and organizations, and providing a clear basis for proceeding with their preparations confidently, supported by coordination at various stages of participation.
The agreement organizes the practical aspects related to the participation of countries and international organizations and their working teams, including travel arrangements, visas, tax and customs facilitation, mobility services, as well as technical and administrative requirements. This contributes to streamlining procedures and reducing administrative burdens on participants, paving the way for effective participation of countries and international organizations in this global event, ensuring a smoother and more efficient participation experience before and throughout the duration of Expo 2030 Riyadh.
