نيابةً عن خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، يُلقي ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، اليوم (الأربعاء)، الخطاب الملكي السنوي لافتتاح أعمال السنة الثانية من الدورة التاسعة لمجلس الشورى.
وأعرب رئيس مجلس الشورى الشيخ الدكتور عبدالله إبراهيم آل الشيخ، عن عظيم تقدير المجلس واعتزازه بالدعم والرعاية المستمرة من القيادة وما تقدمه من توجيهات سديدة تمكّن المجلس من الاضطلاع بمهماته التشريعية والرقابية على الوجه الأمثل.
وثمَّن عاليًا تفضُّل وليّ العهد بإلقاء الخطاب السنوي نيابةً عن خادم الحرمين الشريفين، مؤكدًا أن الخطاب الملكي السنوي يُمثل حدثًا وطنيًا مهمًا ينتظره الجميع بكل اهتمام، نظرًا لما يحمله من مضامين سامية وتوجّهات واضحة تُعين مجلس الشورى على أداء مهماته التشريعية والرقابية، وتُرشده في أداء أعماله بما يحقق مصلحة وطننا الغالي.
ونوّه رئيس الشورى، بما يتضمنه الخطاب الملكي السنوي من تبيان لسياسة المملكة الداخلية والخارجية، وما يحمله من رؤى وتوجيهات تُترجم حرص القيادة الحكيمة على مواصلة مسيرة البناء والتنمية، وتُبرز مكانة المملكة ودورها المهم على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي؛ بما يعكس ثقلها السياسي والاقتصادي، ورسالتها في نشر مبادئ الإنسانية الراسخة.
وقال آل الشيخ: «إن مجلس الشورى يتطلع إلى استلهام ما يحمله الخطاب الملكي من مرتكزات مسيرة التطوير والنماء، وبما ينسجم مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030، وإن المجلس يسعى عبر أعماله وقراراته إلى الإسهام الجاد والفاعل في تحقيق التحولات الكبرى التي تشهدها المملكة في مختلف المجالات».
وأشار في هذا الصدد إلى ما تحقق خلال السنة الماضية الأولى من الدورة التاسعة للمجلس من عمل مثمر، إذ أصدر المجلس 462 قرارًا على مدى 41 جلسة، تناولت موضوعات متنوعة تمس الشأن الوطني؛ بما يعكس حجم الجهد المبذول وتكامل الأدوار في دعم مسيرة التنمية الشاملة، مبينًا أنّ لجان مجلس الشورى المتخصصة عقدت خلال السنة الشورية الماضية سلسلة من الاجتماعات المكثفة بلغت 315 اجتماعًا، ناقشت فيها عددًا من الموضوعات المدرجة على جدول أعمالها، من بينها التقارير السنوية للجهات الحكومية، وذلك بحضور 248 مسؤولًا من تلك الجهات؛ بما يعزز من مبدأ الشفافية وتكامل الأدوار.
146 منشطاً دبلوماسياً للمجلس
أكد رئيس مجلس الشورى، أنّ الدبلوماسية البرلمانية للمجلس واصلت نشاطها المتنوع بمختلف أشكالها خلال السنة الشورية الماضية، حيث بلغت مناشط الدبلوماسية البرلمانية الداخلية والخارجية 146 منشطًا، مسجلة حضورًا فاعلًا، مشيرًا إلى أنّ هذه المشاركات واللقاءات تُسهم في تعزيز العلاقات البرلمانية، وتبادل الخبرات.
وأضاف، أنّ التطور المتسارع الذي تشهده المملكة على المستويات كافة، من تنويع اقتصادي وتقدم تقني ونهضة في المشاريع الكبرى وتنمية بشرية يقترن بسياسة خارجية متوازنة وفاعلة تعزز من حضور المملكة على مختلف المستويات، وتؤكد التزامها التام بالوقوف مع القضايا العادلة، وبناء الشراكات الإستراتيجية، والمضي قدمًا نحو تحقيق الاستقرار والتنمية في المنطقة والعالم.
وأوضح، أنّ هذه الإنجازات تأتي انعكاسًا مباشرًا للدعم المتواصل والمستمر من القيادة وحافزًا للمجلس على تعزيز دوره في المرحلة القادمة، مسترشدًا بما سيتضمنه الخطاب الملكي من توجيهات ورؤى ترسم ملامح السياسة العامة للدولة.

On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman will deliver the annual royal speech today (Wednesday) to inaugurate the second year of the ninth session of the Shura Council.
The Chairman of the Shura Council, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Ibrahim Al Sheikh, expressed the council's deep appreciation and pride in the continuous support and care from the leadership, as well as the wise directives that enable the council to carry out its legislative and supervisory tasks in the best possible manner.
He highly valued the Crown Prince's graciousness in delivering the annual speech on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, emphasizing that the annual royal speech represents an important national event that everyone eagerly awaits, given the noble contents and clear directions it carries that assist the Shura Council in fulfilling its legislative and supervisory duties, guiding it in its work to achieve the interests of our dear nation.
The Chairman of the Shura Council noted the annual royal speech's clarification of the Kingdom's internal and external policies, and the visions and directives it carries that translate the leadership's commitment to continue the path of construction and development, highlighting the Kingdom's status and its important role on both regional and international levels; reflecting its political and economic weight, and its message in promoting enduring humanitarian principles.
Al Sheikh stated: "The Shura Council looks forward to drawing inspiration from the foundations of development and growth that the royal speech carries, in alignment with the objectives of Vision 2030. The council seeks, through its work and decisions, to make a serious and effective contribution to the major transformations taking place in the Kingdom across various fields."
In this regard, he pointed out the fruitful work achieved during the past year of the ninth session of the council, as the council issued 462 decisions over 41 sessions, addressing various topics related to national affairs; reflecting the significant effort made and the integration of roles in supporting the comprehensive development process. He indicated that the specialized committees of the Shura Council held a series of intensive meetings during the past Shura year, totaling 315 meetings, discussing a number of topics on their agenda, including the annual reports of government entities, with the attendance of 248 officials from those entities; enhancing the principle of transparency and the integration of roles.
146 Diplomatic Activities for the Council
The Chairman of the Shura Council confirmed that the council's parliamentary diplomacy continued its diverse activities in various forms during the past Shura year, with parliamentary diplomatic activities both internal and external reaching 146 events, marking an active presence. He noted that these participations and meetings contribute to strengthening parliamentary relations and exchanging experiences.
He added that the rapid development witnessed by the Kingdom at all levels, from economic diversification and technological advancement to the renaissance of major projects and human development, is coupled with a balanced and effective foreign policy that enhances the Kingdom's presence on various levels, affirming its full commitment to stand with just causes, build strategic partnerships, and move forward towards achieving stability and development in the region and the world.
