استقبل ملك مملكة البحرين الملك حمد بن عيسى آل خليفة، في المنامة اليوم، المستشار الخاص لخادم الحرمين الشريفين رئيس مجلس إدارة دارة الملك عبدالعزيز الأمير فيصل بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، والوفد المرافق له.
وفي بداية اللقاء، نقل الأمير فيصل بن سلمان تحيات خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، وتمنياتهما لمملكة البحرين وشعبها الشقيق بدوام التقدم والازدهار.
وثمّن الملك حمد بن عيسى هذه المشاعر الأخوية الكريمة، مشيداً بعمق العلاقات التاريخية والروابط الوثيقة التي تجمع بين المملكة العربية السعودية ومملكة البحرين وشعبيهما الشقيقين.
واستعرض الأمير فيصل بن سلمان خلال اللقاء تجربة دارة الملك عبدالعزيز الرائدة في مجال حفظ الوثائق التاريخية والعناية بها، وإبراز قيمتها العلمية والثقافية، إلى جانب الجهود المبذولة للاستفادة من الحلول الرقمية والذكاء الاصطناعي التوليدي لتطبيق ممارسات عالمية في الأرشفة التاريخية، وإتاحتها أمام الباحثين والمهتمين بوصفها جزءاً من الذاكرة الوطنية التي تستحق الاهتمام والرعاية.
كما أشار إلى سبل التعاون وتعزيز العمل المشترك بين دارة الملك عبدالعزيز والجهات المماثلة في مملكة البحرين، وتشجيع الدراسات المتخصصة والمعمقة للصلات التاريخية بين البلدين وعوامل تطورها، إضافة إلى تبادل الخبرات في مجالات التوثيق التاريخي وصون الوثائق الوطنية، ودعم الباحثين بالمصادر الأولية التاريخية من صور ووثائق ومخطوطات.
The King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, received today in Manama the Special Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the King Abdulaziz Foundation, Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, along with his accompanying delegation.
At the beginning of the meeting, Prince Faisal bin Salman conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, along with their wishes for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its brotherly people for continued progress and prosperity.
King Hamad bin Isa appreciated these kind fraternal sentiments, praising the depth of the historical relations and the close ties that bind the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Bahrain and their brotherly peoples.
During the meeting, Prince Faisal bin Salman reviewed the pioneering experience of the King Abdulaziz Foundation in the field of preserving historical documents and caring for them, highlighting their scientific and cultural value, as well as the efforts made to benefit from digital solutions and generative artificial intelligence to apply global practices in historical archiving, making them available to researchers and interested parties as part of the national memory that deserves attention and care.
He also pointed out the ways to enhance cooperation and joint work between the King Abdulaziz Foundation and similar entities in the Kingdom of Bahrain, encouraging specialized and in-depth studies of the historical connections between the two countries and the factors influencing their development, in addition to exchanging expertise in the fields of historical documentation and the preservation of national documents, and supporting researchers with primary historical sources such as images, documents, and manuscripts.
