صدرت شروط محدثة لتنظيم التخطيط المكاني لأنشطة تقديم خدمات المياه؛ بغرض تحقيق التوازن بين متطلبات التطوير العمراني وحماية النسيج الحضري للمدن السعودية.
وأوضحت وزارة البلديات أن التنظيم أعد استناداً إلى معايير فنية وتنظيمية حديثة، تراعي خصوصية النشاط وموقعه في النسيج العمراني للمدن. ويشمل التحديث أنشطة متعددة، مثل محطات التحلية، وتنقية المياه، بما يضمن تنظيمها في إطار نظامي واضح، يراعي الأبعاد البيئية والحضرية، ويعزز الامتثال للأنظمة، ويرفع من كفاءة المرافق المرتبطة بالنشاط.

Updated conditions have been issued to regulate spatial planning for water service provision activities; aimed at achieving a balance between urban development requirements and protecting the urban fabric of Saudi cities.
The Ministry of Municipalities clarified that the regulation was prepared based on modern technical and organizational standards, taking into account the specificity of the activity and its location within the urban fabric of the cities. The update includes multiple activities, such as desalination plants and water purification, ensuring their organization within a clear regulatory framework that considers environmental and urban dimensions, enhances compliance with regulations, and improves the efficiency of facilities related to the activity.
