تشهد سماء المملكة مساء غدٍ الأحد 15 ربيع الأول 1447هـ، الموافق 7 سبتمبر 2025م، الخسوف الكلي للقمر المعروف بـ«القمر الدموي»، في حدث فلكي نادر يمكن مشاهدته بوضوح في مختلف مناطق المملكة.
ووفقًا لبيان وكالة الفضاء السعودية، تبدأ مراحل الخسوف عند الساعة 6 مساءً تقريبًا مع دخول القمر في مرحلة شبه الظل ووصول الخسوف الجزئي، ثم عند 8 مساءً تقريبًا يبدأ الخسوف الكلي، ليصل إلى ذروته عند 9 مساءً حيث يظهر القمر باللون الأحمر الداكن فيما يعرف بـ«القمر الدموي». ويستمر المشهد حتى 11 مساءً تقريبًا مع نهاية الخسوف الجزئي ووصول القمر إلى شبه الظل.
وتبلغ مدة الخسوف الكامل بمراحله المختلفة نحو خمس ساعات تقريبًا، ما يجعله من أبرز الظواهر الفلكية التي يمكن مشاهدتها بالعين المجردة في سماء المملكة هذا العام.
The sky of the Kingdom will witness tomorrow evening, Sunday, the 15th of Rabi' al-Awwal 1447 AH, corresponding to September 7, 2025 AD, a total lunar eclipse known as the "Blood Moon," in a rare astronomical event that can be clearly observed in various regions of the Kingdom.
According to a statement from the Saudi Space Agency, the stages of the eclipse will begin around 6 PM with the moon entering the penumbral phase and the onset of the partial eclipse. Then, around 8 PM, the total eclipse will begin, reaching its peak at 9 PM when the moon appears dark red, known as the "Blood Moon." The spectacle will continue until approximately 11 PM with the end of the partial eclipse and the moon returning to the penumbral phase.
The total duration of the eclipse in its various stages is about five hours, making it one of the most prominent astronomical phenomena that can be observed with the naked eye in the sky of the Kingdom this year.
