عزّزت وزارة التعليم جهودها في تطوير الرياضة المدرسية، بتوقيع مذكرة تفاهم مع الاتحاد السعودي لكرة المناورة، بحضور رئيس الاتحاد الأمير سعود بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، ووكيل الوزارة للتعليم العام الدكتور حسن خرمي، وذلك في مقر الوزارة بالرياض.

وتهدف المذكرة إلى تنمية مهارات الطلاب والطالبات، وصقل مواهبهم الرياضية، عبر برامج نوعية متخصصة في كرة المناورة، بما يواكب توجهات رؤية المملكة 2030 في تعزيز الصحة العامة وجودة الحياة، وبناء جيل يتمتع بقدرات بدنية وفكرية متوازنة.

وسيبدأ تنفيذ الاتفاقية في إدارات التعليم بالرياض والشرقية وجدة، على أن يتم التوسع لاحقاً ليشمل بقية الإدارات التعليمية في مناطق المملكة، إذ تتضمن بنودها تنظيم برامج تدريبية وورش عمل للطلاب والمعلمين والمشرفين، إلى جانب إقامة بطولات مدرسية محلية ووطنية تسهم في نشر ثقافة ممارسة الرياضة وتعزيز روح المنافسة.
وأكدت وزارة التعليم أن هذه الخطوة تمثل امتداداً لجهودها المستمرة في جعل الرياضة المدرسية، جزءاً أساسياً من العملية التعليمية، مشيرة إلى أن تعزيز النشاط البدني في المدارس، يعد استثماراً في صحة الأجيال القادمة، ودعامة رئيسة في تحقيق مستهدفات التنمية الوطنية.
The Ministry of Education has strengthened its efforts in developing school sports by signing a memorandum of understanding with the Saudi Football Federation, in the presence of the federation's president, Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Ministry's Undersecretary for General Education, Dr. Hassan Khurmi, at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh.

The memorandum aims to develop the skills of male and female students and refine their athletic talents through specialized quality programs in football, in line with the directions of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to enhance public health and quality of life, and to build a generation with balanced physical and intellectual capabilities.

The implementation of the agreement will begin in the education departments in Riyadh, the Eastern Province, and Jeddah, with plans to expand later to include other educational departments across the Kingdom. Its provisions include organizing training programs and workshops for students, teachers, and supervisors, as well as holding local and national school tournaments that contribute to spreading the culture of sports practice and enhancing the spirit of competition.
The Ministry of Education confirmed that this step represents an extension of its ongoing efforts to make school sports an essential part of the educational process, noting that enhancing physical activity in schools is an investment in the health of future generations and a key pillar in achieving national development goals.
