تمكّنت هيئة الزكاة والضريبة والجمارك «زاتكا» من إحباط محاولتي تهريب كمية من مادة الإمفيتامين المخدر (الكبتاجون)، بلغت 301,325 حبة، عثُر عليها مخبأة في مركبتين قدمتا إلى المملكة عبر منفذي الحديثة، وجسر الملك فهد.
وأوضح المتحدث الرسمي باسم «زاتكا» حمود الحربي، أنه في المحاولة الأولى تم إحباط تهريب 209,759 حبة كانت مُخبأة بداخل تجويف الإطار الاحتياطي لإحدى المركبات القادمة عبر منفذ جسر الملك فهد، وفي المحاولة الثانية تم إحباط تهريب 91,566 حبة عُثر عليها مُخبأة بداخل تجويف أجزاء حافلة قدمت إلى المملكة عبر منفذ الحديثة.
وأضاف الحربي أنه بعد إتمام عملية الضبط، جرى التنسيق مع المديرية العامة لمكافحة المخدرات؛ لضمان القبض على مستقبلي المضبوطات، حيث تم القبض على مستقبِلها داخل المملكة.
وأكد المتحدث الرسمي أن الهيئة ماضية في إحكام الرقابة الجمركية على واردات وصادرات المملكة، وتقف بالمرصاد أمام محاولات أرباب التهريب، وذلك تحقيقًا لأبرز ركائز استراتيجيتها المتمثلة في تعزيز أمن وحماية المجتمع بالحد من محاولات تهريب مثل هذه الآفات وغيرها من الممنوعات.
ودعت «زاتكا» الجميع إلى الإسهام في مكافحة التهريب لحماية المجتمع والاقتصاد الوطني من خلال التواصل معها على الرقم المخصص للبلاغات الأمنية (1910) أو عبر البريد الإلكتروني (1910@zatca.gov.sa) والرقم الدولي (009661910) حيث تقوم الهيئة من خلال هذه القنوات باستقبال البلاغات المرتبطة بجرائم التهريب، ومخالفات أحكام نظام الجمارك الموحد وذلك بسرية تامة، مع منح مكافأة مالية للمُبلّغ في حال صحة معلومات البلاغ.
The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority "ZATCA" succeeded in thwarting two attempts to smuggle a quantity of the narcotic substance amphetamine (Captagon), amounting to 301,325 pills, which were found hidden in two vehicles that entered the Kingdom through the Al-Haditha and King Fahd Bridge crossings.
The official spokesperson for "ZATCA," Hamoud Al-Harbi, explained that in the first attempt, 209,759 pills were seized, which were hidden inside the spare tire compartment of one of the vehicles coming through the King Fahd Bridge crossing. In the second attempt, 91,566 pills were thwarted, found hidden inside the hollow parts of a bus that entered the Kingdom through the Al-Haditha crossing.
Al-Harbi added that after completing the seizure operation, coordination was made with the General Directorate for Drug Control to ensure the arrest of those receiving the seized items, and the recipient was arrested inside the Kingdom.
The official spokesperson confirmed that the authority is continuing to tighten customs control over the imports and exports of the Kingdom and stands ready to confront the attempts of smugglers, achieving one of the main pillars of its strategy, which is to enhance the security and protection of society by reducing attempts to smuggle such harmful substances and other prohibited items.
ZATCA called on everyone to contribute to combating smuggling to protect society and the national economy by contacting them at the designated security reporting number (1910) or via email (1910@zatca.gov.sa) and the international number (009661910), where the authority receives reports related to smuggling crimes and violations of the unified customs system with complete confidentiality, offering a financial reward for the informant if the information provided is accurate.
