زار وكيل الوزارة لتنمية المجتمع أحمد بن صالح الماجد فرع وزارة الموارد البشرية والتنمية الاجتماعية بمنطقة جازان، حيث كان في استقباله المهندس أحمد بن محمد قنفذي مدير عام فرع الوزارة بالمنطقة، وفوزية باصهي المساعد للتنمية، و أحمد عزيز مدير مركز التنمية الاجتماعية بجازان.
و اطّلع خلال الزيارة على أبرز البرامج والمبادرات التنموية التي ينفذها الفرع والمركز في المنطقة، إضافةً إلى الجهود المبذولة في تعزيز الشراكات المجتمعية ودعم الجمعيات الأهلية ولجان التنمية لتحقيق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 في تمكين القطاع غير الربحي.
كما نُوقشت خلال الزيارة الخطط التطويرية لرفع مستوى الخدمات الاجتماعية والتنموية المقدمة للمستفيدين، وتعزيز دور المركز في تنمية المجتمع المحلي، عبر مبادرات نوعية تستهدف مختلف الفئات.
وفي ختام الزيارة، ثمّن الوكيل الجهود المبذولة من قبل منسوبي الفرع والمركز، مؤكداً على أهمية مواصلة العمل بروح الفريق الواحد لتحقيق التنمية المستدامة في المنطقة.
The Undersecretary for Community Development, Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Majed, visited the branch of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in the Jazan region, where he was welcomed by Engineer Ahmed bin Mohammed Qanfudh, the General Director of the ministry's branch in the region, Fawzia Basihe, the Assistant for Development, and Ahmed Aziz, the Director of the Social Development Center in Jazan.
During the visit, he was briefed on the most prominent developmental programs and initiatives being implemented by the branch and the center in the region, in addition to the efforts made to enhance community partnerships and support civil society organizations and development committees to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in empowering the non-profit sector.
Additionally, the developmental plans to improve the level of social and developmental services provided to beneficiaries were discussed during the visit, as well as enhancing the center's role in local community development through qualitative initiatives targeting various groups.
At the end of the visit, the undersecretary appreciated the efforts made by the staff of the branch and the center, emphasizing the importance of continuing to work with a team spirit to achieve sustainable development in the region.
