في بادرة إنسانية كريمة، تبرع ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، بالدم، وذلك ضمن حملة سنوية للتبرع بالدم أطلقها امتداداً لرعايته الكريمة للعمل الإنساني، وتشجيعاً لجميع فئات المجتمع على المبادرة بالتبرع، امتثالاً لقوله تعالى: {ومن أحياها فكأنما أحيا الناس جميعاً}، وتجسيداً لحرصه على تعزيز المشاركة المجتمعية، وترسيخ ثقافة التبرع الطوعي، ودعم الجهود الوطنية في القطاع الصحي، وصولاً إلى رفع نسبة التبرع الطوعي إلى 100% من إجمالي المتبرعين، تحقيقاً لمستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 نحو مجتمع حيوي يتمتع بحياة صحية متكاملة.
وتُعد هذه المبادرة امتداداً للمواقف الإنسانية السخيّة للقيادة في مختلف المجالات، ومنها تلقي لقاح فايروس كورونا (كوفيد-19)، وتسجيل خادم الحرمين الشريفين وولي العهد في برنامج التبرع بالأعضاء.
وتهدف الحملة إلى تعزيز الوعي بأهمية التبرع الطوعي بالدم، وتحقيق الاكتفاء الذاتي من الدم ومكوناته، لضمان توفير إمدادات آمنة ومستدامة تلبي احتياجات المستفيدين في مختلف مناطق المملكة، إذ يسهم التبرع الواحد في إنقاذ الأرواح من خلال توفير وحدة دم أو بلازما أو صفائح دموية، وقد بلغ عدد المتبرعين بالدم في عام 2024 أكثر من 800 ألف متبرع.
ويأتي تبرع ولي العهد -حفظه الله- تجسيداً للقدوة الملهمة في العمل الإنساني، ورسالة قيّمة تؤكد أهمية المبادرات التطوعية، وتحفيزاً لأفراد المجتمع على تبني ثقافة العطاء، ودعوتهم للمشاركة في هذا العمل النبيل والإسهام في إنقاذ الأرواح.
In a generous humanitarian gesture, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz donated blood as part of an annual blood donation campaign he launched, extending his noble patronage of humanitarian work and encouraging all segments of society to take the initiative to donate, in compliance with the saying of Allah: {And whoever saves one - it is as if he had saved mankind entirely}, and embodying his commitment to enhancing community participation, establishing a culture of voluntary donation, and supporting national efforts in the health sector, aiming to raise the percentage of voluntary donations to 100% of the total donors, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 towards a vibrant society enjoying a comprehensive healthy life.
This initiative is an extension of the generous humanitarian stances of the leadership in various fields, including receiving the COVID-19 vaccine and the registration of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince in the organ donation program.
The campaign aims to raise awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation and achieve self-sufficiency in blood and its components, to ensure the provision of safe and sustainable supplies that meet the needs of beneficiaries in various regions of the Kingdom. One donation can save lives by providing a unit of blood, plasma, or platelets, and the number of blood donors in 2024 exceeded 800,000 donors.
The Crown Prince's donation - may Allah protect him - embodies an inspiring example in humanitarian work, and a valuable message that emphasizes the importance of voluntary initiatives, motivating community members to adopt a culture of giving and inviting them to participate in this noble work and contribute to saving lives.
