انطلقت اليوم، النسخة الأولى من جائزة التنمية الشبابية، أحد مخرجات إستراتيجية التنمية الشبابية التي أطلقتها وزارة الموارد البشرية والتنمية الاجتماعية مطلع عام 2024، تحت شعار "شبابنا ثروة"، بحضور عددٍ من القيادات والجهات المعنية.
ويأتي انطلاق الجائزة برعاية من مساعد وزير الموارد البشرية والتنمية الاجتماعية للخدمات المشتركة إسماعيل بن سعيد الغامدي، وذلك تزامنًا مع اليوم الدولي للشباب؛ بهدف تمكينهم وتعزيز دورهم في مسيرة التنمية الوطنية.
وأكد الغامدي، حرص الوزارة على إشراك الشباب في صياغة التشريعات المنظمة لممارسات التنمية الشبابية باعتبارهم الثروة الحقيقية للمملكة، من خلال تنظيم أكثر من 35 ورشة عمل في مختلف مناطق المملكة، وإجراء استطلاعات رأي شارك فيها ما يزيد على 11 ألف شاب وفتاة لمعرفة تطلعاتهم وأولوياتهم وزيادة مشاركتهم في المجتمع، مشيرًا إلى أن إطلاق جائزة التنمية الشبابية تسهم في تعزيز جهود الأطر الشبابية وإبراز دورهم الحيوي في هذا الملف.
ودعا إلى مضاعفة الجهود الوطنية لتنمية الفرص والخيارات للشباب ليكونوا جزءًا فاعلًا في تحقيق التطلعات الوطنية ومستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
وشهدت النسخة الأولى من الجائزة تفاعلًا لافتًا، حيث استقبلت الوزارة أكثر من 300 مشاركة تأهل منها 15 مبادرة شبابية رائدة تم تكريمها خلال الحفل، تقديرًا لإسهاماتها في مجالات تنموية متنوعة.
يذكر أن إستراتيجية التنمية الشبابية جاءت بالمواءمة والتنسيق مع أكثر من (30) جهة حكومية وخاصة، وتمتد حتى عام 2030، حيث تسعى الوزارة من خلالها إلى تقديم مجموعة متنوعة من البرامج والمبادرات في مجالات مختلفة، من أهمها الأنظمة والتشريعات للعمل الشبابي، وبناء قدرات العاملين مع الشباب، ورفع مشاركة الشباب في عملية صناعة القرار ومشاركتهم المجتمعية.

The first edition of the Youth Development Award was launched today, one of the outcomes of the Youth Development Strategy initiated by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development at the beginning of 2024, under the slogan "Our Youth is a Treasure," in the presence of several leaders and relevant entities.
The launch of the award is sponsored by the Assistant Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Shared Services, Ismail bin Saeed Al-Ghamdi, coinciding with the International Youth Day; with the aim of empowering them and enhancing their role in the national development journey.
Al-Ghamdi emphasized the ministry's commitment to involving youth in shaping the legislation governing youth development practices, considering them the true wealth of the Kingdom, by organizing more than 35 workshops in various regions of the Kingdom and conducting opinion polls in which over 11,000 young men and women participated to understand their aspirations and priorities and to increase their participation in society. He pointed out that the launch of the Youth Development Award contributes to enhancing the efforts of youth frameworks and highlighting their vital role in this file.
He called for doubling national efforts to develop opportunities and options for youth to be an active part in achieving national aspirations and the targets of Vision 2030.
The first edition of the award witnessed notable interaction, as the ministry received over 300 submissions, from which 15 pioneering youth initiatives were qualified and honored during the ceremony, in recognition of their contributions in various developmental fields.
It is noteworthy that the Youth Development Strategy was developed in alignment and coordination with more than 30 governmental and private entities and extends until 2030, through which the ministry aims to provide a diverse range of programs and initiatives in various fields, the most important of which are regulations and legislation for youth work, building the capacities of those working with youth, and increasing youth participation in the decision-making process and their community engagement.
