Algerian star Houssem Aouar of Al-Ittihad expressed that he felt an extremely strange sensation when playing against the Frenchman Karim Benzema, saying, "We had only been playing together for a few weeks."

The Algerian player emphasized that the red card changed a lot in the course of the match, as it prevented them from playing with their usual ambition.

He clarified that they would have been able - had they played the entire match with a full squad - to have greater ball possession and show a stronger attacking desire.

On the other hand, Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou of Al-Hilal expressed their dissatisfaction with the result of the "Clasico," stating, "It was not the result we were expecting."

Despite praising the high effort of his fellow players, he mentioned that the feeling after the match was bad.

The Moroccan goalkeeper stressed the importance of striving for victory in all upcoming matches for his team, with high focus, attributing the loss of control over the course of the match to a drop in concentration. He said, "We have a match on Tuesday, and we are thinking of winning it, God willing."

Al-Hilal will face their host Al-Taawoun next Tuesday, in the postponed tenth round of the Roshen Saudi League.
