أعلنت وزارة التعليم، اليوم (الأحد)، تعيين منى العجمي متحدثًا رسميًا للوزارة، قبيل بدء العام الدراسي بأيام، في خطوة تعكس حرص الوزارة على تعزيز حضور المرأة في المناصب القيادية والتواصل المؤسسي.
وتعد العجمي ثاني سيدة تتولى مهمات المتحدث الرسمي باسم وزارة التعليم، إذ سبقتها ابتسام الشهري التي استمرت 4 سنوات كمتحدثة رسمية في الفترة من 2019 حتى 2023.
واعتبرت ابتسام الشهري أول امرأة سعودية تتقلد منصب متحدثة إعلامية لوزارة سعودية.
ويأتي هذا التعيين في إطار سعي الوزارة لتحسين قنوات الاتصال مع الجمهور وتعزيز التواصل الإعلامي.
يذكر أن منى العجمي درست الثانوية العامة في الكويت، وحصلت على بكالوريوس التربية من جامعة الملك فيصل - لغة إنجليزية، وعملت مشرفة إدارة التعليم الأهلي والأجنبي في تعليم الأحساء.
وتعد العجمي مدرباً معتمداً من مركز ديبونو للتفكير، ومن مؤسسة ستيفن كوفي للعادات السبع. كما أنها مدرب معتمد في التفكير، وفي استراتيجيات التعليم، والتنمية البشرية، ومدرب مدربين معتمد من جامعة القاهرة ToT.
The Ministry of Education announced today (Sunday) the appointment of Mona Al-Ajmi as the official spokesperson for the ministry, just days before the start of the academic year, in a move that reflects the ministry's commitment to enhancing the presence of women in leadership positions and institutional communication.
Al-Ajmi is the second woman to take on the role of official spokesperson for the Ministry of Education, following Ibtisam Al-Shuhri, who served for 4 years as the official spokesperson from 2019 to 2023.
Ibtisam Al-Shuhri is considered the first Saudi woman to hold the position of media spokesperson for a Saudi ministry.
This appointment comes as part of the ministry's efforts to improve communication channels with the public and enhance media communication.
It is worth mentioning that Mona Al-Ajmi studied high school in Kuwait and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Education from King Faisal University - English Language. She worked as a supervisor in the Private and Foreign Education Department in Al-Ahsa.
Al-Ajmi is a certified trainer from the De Bono Center for Thinking and from the Stephen Covey Foundation for the Seven Habits. She is also a certified trainer in thinking, educational strategies, human development, and a certified trainer of trainers from Cairo University ToT.
