لجنة الدفاع المدني بجازان تعقد اجتماعها استعداداً للحالة المطرية

The Civil Defense Committee held a meeting chaired by the Emir of Jazan Region, the head of the main Civil Defense Committee in the region, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, today, with the attendance of his deputy, Prince Nasser bin Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Jiluwi, in the meeting hall at the emirate.

During the meeting, preparations for the expected rainy conditions were discussed, along with a review of the previous recommendations that had been implemented, in addition to the plans prepared to deal with the various circumstances accompanying rainfall and the flow of torrents, and to follow up on the projects that have been executed to protect some villages in the governorates and the means to complete the projects related to them according to the plans and programs prepared for that.

The Emir of the region emphasized the importance of the meeting and the topics it covered related to civil defense operations and dealing with emergency situations, especially during periods of rainfall and torrent flow, enabling all government agencies to respond quickly to emergencies and various incidents, extinguish fires, and monitor the flow of torrents. He directed the need for concerted efforts and continued coordination among the relevant departments to handle the rainy conditions, raise the level of preventive awareness among everyone, and provide everything that ensures the safety of lives and the protection of property in implementation of the directives of the wise leadership.

The Emir of Jazan Region stressed the importance of cooperation among the relevant entities to accomplish the measures and defense operations in emergency situations, and to ensure that all devices are ready and fully prepared to carry out the tasks assigned to them as required.
