The unified electronic platform for public and government opinion surveys (Survey Platform) affiliated with the National Competitiveness Center has launched 40 projects related to economic and developmental issues, in collaboration with 13 government entities, to gather views and suggestions on them before their approval.

The projects presented through the platform include (updating the guide for planning and design standards for parking lots); to estimate the demand for parking spaces and the design standards and planning guidelines, and the project (policy for determining fares for public land transport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), through which the Transport Authority aims to establish the pricing foundations for passenger land transport in the Kingdom to ensure fare regulation and guarantee the provision of transport means at a good level and reasonable cost for passengers. Additionally, the project (regulations for violations and penalties for recreational and supporting activities) was proposed; aimed at organizing and developing recreational activities in the Kingdom, enhancing all its elements, components, and potentials, monitoring it, and ensuring access to high-quality professional recreational activities. The General Authority for Real Estate presented the project (executive regulations for non-Saudis owning real estate); which aims to establish the executive provisions for the ownership system of real estate by non-Saudis. The projects presented through the platform also include the project (regulations governing the outsourcing of non-Saudi labor services between establishments through the Ajeer program), and the project (controls for advertising support labor services); through which the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development aims to organize the outsourcing of non-Saudi labor services between establishments and issue permits to regulate the presence of their workers at the work sites of the establishments benefiting from their services, ensuring clear and specific standards and controls for the advertising content of the support labor that is broadcast and displayed.

The launch of regulatory projects and regulations and similar matters through the (Survey) platform confirms the commitment to enhancing transparency in the legislative environment and promoting a culture of surveying among the public, government entities, and the private sector, involving them in shaping projects related to the business environment.
