نفذت وزارة الداخلية، اليوم (الإثنين)، حُكم القتل تعزيرًا في كلٌ من عبدالرحيم بن حمد بن محمد الخرماني، وتركي بن هلال بن سند المطيري -سعوديي الجنسية- لإقدامهما على ارتكاب عددٍ من الجرائم الإرهابية تمثلت في الانضمام إلى أحد التنظيمات الإرهابية، وإطلاق النار على رجال الأمن في الداخل بقصد القتل، وتصنيع المتفجرات وحيازتها، وتمويل ودعم الأعمال الإرهابية.
وقالت «الداخلية» في بياناً، إن الجهات الأمنية تمكنت من القبض على المذكورين، وأسفر التحقيق معهما عن توجيه الاتهام إليهما بارتكاب تلك الجرائم، وبإحالتهما إلى المحكمة المختصة؛ صدر بحقهما حُكم يقضي بثبوت ما نُسب إليهما وقتلهما تعزيرًا، وأصبح الحُكم نهائيًا بعد استئنافه ثم تأييده من المحكمة العليا، وصدر أمر ملكي بإنفاذ ما تقرر شرعًا. وتم تنفيذ حُكم القتل تعزيرًا بمنطقة مكة المكرمة.
وأكدت وزارة الداخلية حرص حكومة المملكة العربية السعودية على استتباب الأمن وتحقيق العدل وتنفيذ أحكام الشريعة الإسلامية في كل من يتعدى على الآمنين أو يسفك دماءهم، وينتهك حقهم في الحياة والأمن، وتحذر في الوقت نفسه كل من تسول له نفسه الإقدام على مثل ذلك بأن العقاب الشرعي سيكون مصيره، والله الهادي إلى سواء السبيل.
The Ministry of Interior executed today (Monday) the death penalty as a discretionary punishment for both Abdul Rahim bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Khurmani and Turki bin Hilal bin Sand Al-Mutairi - both Saudi nationals - for committing a number of terrorist crimes, which included joining a terrorist organization, shooting at security personnel with intent to kill, manufacturing and possessing explosives, and financing and supporting terrorist activities.
The Ministry stated in a statement that the security authorities were able to arrest the aforementioned individuals, and the investigation with them resulted in charges being brought against them for committing those crimes. Upon referring them to the competent court, a ruling was issued confirming the charges against them and sentencing them to death as a discretionary punishment. The ruling became final after being appealed and subsequently upheld by the Supreme Court, and a royal order was issued to enforce what was legally decided. The death penalty was carried out in the Makkah region.
The Ministry of Interior affirmed the commitment of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to maintain security, achieve justice, and implement the provisions of Islamic law against anyone who transgresses against the safe or sheds their blood, violating their right to life and security. At the same time, it warns anyone who might contemplate such actions that the legal punishment will be their fate, and Allah is the guide to the straight path.
