تعرب وزارة الخارجية عن ترحيب المملكة العربية السعودية بإعلان رئيس وزراء كندا مارك كارني، ورئيس وزراء جمهورية مالطا روبيرت أبيلا عزم بلديهما الاعتراف بدولة فلسطين الشقيقة في شهر سبتمبر القادم.
وتشيد المملكة بهذه القرارات الإيجابية التي ترسخ مسار حل الدولتين، وتؤكد توافق المجتمع الدولي على ضرورة إنهاء المعاناة التي يعيشها الشعب الفلسطيني الشقيق، وتجدد المملكة دعوتها لبقية الدول لاتخاذ مثل هذه الخطوات الجادة الداعمة للسلام.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's welcome for the announcement by Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and Maltese Prime Minister Robert Abela regarding their countries' intention to recognize the sister State of Palestine in the upcoming month of September.
The Kingdom commends these positive decisions that reinforce the two-state solution path and affirms the international community's consensus on the necessity of ending the suffering endured by the brotherly Palestinian people. The Kingdom renews its call for other countries to take similar serious steps in support of peace.
