أُصيب أكثر من ٢٣ شخصاً بإصابات متفرقة، بعضها خطير، نتيجة سقوط لعبة داخل متنزه ترفيهي بالطائف.
وأظهرت مقاطع فيديو متداولة وجود عدد من الشباب والشابات في هذه اللعبة التي كانت تعمل بشكل طبيعي وتتأرجح بهم وسط صخب أصواتهم العالية، إلا أن الذراع العلوية للعبة تعرضت للكسر بشكل مفاجئ، ما تسبب بسقوطها على الأرض، وهو الأمر الذي عرّض الموجودين بها لإصابات متفرقة، راوحت بين المتوسطة والخطيرة.
وبيّن شهود عيان كانوا موجودين في موقع الحادثة أن الإصابات في اللعبة المسماة «٣٦٠ درجة» كانت نتيجة ارتداد عمودها بعد انكساره وعودته بسرعة فائقة، ليرتطم بالأشخاص الذين كانوا في الجهة المقابلة، في حين تعرض الآخرون لإصابات متفرقة نتيجة سقوطهم وهم في وضع الجلوس داخل اللعبة.
وعلمت «عكاظ» أن بعض مستشفيات الطائف أعلنت حالة الطوارئ (الكود الأصفر)، واستقبلت عدداً من الحالات المصابة التي جرى نقلها إليها بعد أن تم تقديم الإسعافات الأولية في الموقع.
وباشرت الجهات الأمنية والإسعافية موقع الحادثة فور تلقي البلاغ، في حين بدأت الجهات المعنية فتح تحقيق عاجل لكشف الملابسات وأسباب السقوط.
More than 23 people sustained various injuries, some of them serious, due to the collapse of a ride inside an amusement park in Taif.
Videos circulating showed a number of young men and women on this ride, which was operating normally and swinging them amidst their loud cheers. However, the upper arm of the ride suddenly broke, causing it to fall to the ground, which exposed those on it to various injuries, ranging from moderate to severe.
Eyewitnesses present at the scene indicated that the injuries on the ride named "360 Degrees" were due to the rebound of its column after it broke and returned at a high speed, colliding with individuals on the opposite side, while others sustained various injuries from falling while seated inside the ride.
“Okaz” learned that some hospitals in Taif declared a state of emergency (code yellow) and received several injured cases that were transported there after receiving first aid on-site.
Security and emergency services responded to the incident site immediately after receiving the report, while the relevant authorities began an urgent investigation to uncover the circumstances and causes of the collapse.
