عبرت اليوم 7 شاحنات إغاثية سعودية جديدة معبر رفح الحدودي، تحمل على متنها مساعدات غذائية، مقدمة من مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية في طريقها إلى قطاع غزة، ضمن الحملة الشعبية السعودية لإغاثة الشعب الفلسطيني الشقيق في القطاع.
يُذكر أن المركز سيّر جسرًا جويًا وآخر بحريًا وصل منهما حتى الآن 58 طائرة و8 سفن، وبلغ مجموع حمولتهما 7188 طنًا، تشتمل على مواد إيوائية وطبية وغذائية، إضافة إلى تسليم 20 سيارة إسعاف لجمعية الهلال الأحمر الفلسطيني.
كما وقع المركز اتفاقيات مع عدة منظمات دولية لتمويل مشاريع إغاثية للشعب الفلسطيني داخل القطاع بقيمة إجمالية تبلغ 90 مليونًا و350 ألف دولار أمريكي، إضافة إلى مبادرة المملكة من خلال مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة بالتعاون مع المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية بعملية الإسقاط الجوي لإيصال المساعدات الغذائية النوعية للمتضررين في القطاع؛ بهدف كسر إغلاق المعابر الحدودية عن القطاع.
ويواجه قطاع غزة ظروفًا إنسانية قاسية وأزمة مجاعة كبيرة، مما يجعل هذه المساعدات ضرورية لدعم الأسر خصوصا في ظل استمرار الحرب على القطاع، وتعقّد الوضع المعيشي للكثير من الأسر.
Today, 7 new Saudi relief trucks crossed the Rafah border crossing, carrying food aid provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center on their way to the Gaza Strip, as part of the Saudi popular campaign to assist the brotherly Palestinian people in the region.
It is worth mentioning that the center has operated an air bridge and a maritime bridge, from which 58 planes and 8 ships have arrived so far, with a total cargo of 7,188 tons, including shelter, medical, and food supplies, in addition to delivering 20 ambulances to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.
The center has also signed agreements with several international organizations to fund relief projects for the Palestinian people inside the Gaza Strip, with a total value of 90 million and 350 thousand US dollars, in addition to the Kingdom's initiative through the King Salman Relief Center in cooperation with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan for an air drop operation to deliver quality food aid to those affected in the region; aiming to break the closure of the border crossings to the area.
The Gaza Strip is facing severe humanitarian conditions and a significant famine crisis, making this aid essential to support families, especially amid the ongoing war on the region and the complicated living situation for many families.
