أشاد وزير الموارد البشرية والتنمية الاجتماعية المهندس أحمد بن سليمان الراجحي، بتكامل الجهود الوطنية في التصدي لجرائم الاتجار بالأشخاص، مؤكدًا أن المملكة أولت هذا الملف أهمية قصوى من خلال منظومة تشريعية وتنفيذية تستند إلى مبادئ الشريعة الإسلامية، وتنسجم مع المعايير الدولية، وتستهدف حماية الإنسان وصون كرامته، وضمان بيئة عمل عادلة وآمنة.
وأوضح بمناسبة اليوم العالمي لمكافحة الاتجار بالأشخاص، أن هذه الجريمة تعد من أشد الانتهاكات خطورة على الحقوق الإنسانية، وتستوجب استجابة مؤسسية شاملة، تبدأ بالوقاية، وتمر بالحماية، وتنتهي بالمحاسبة، مشيرًا إلى أن الوزارة تبنت مجموعة من السياسات والبرامج لمكافحتها، يأتي في مقدمتها اعتماد «السياسة الوطنية للقضاء على العمل الجبري»، كأول سياسة من نوعها على مستوى دول الخليج، والتي تستهدف القضاء على أبرز صور الاتجار، من خلال تعزيز ظروف العمل اللائق، وتمكين الفئات الأكثر عرضة للاستغلال، وتوفير بيئة تنظيمية تضمن العدالة وعدم التمييز.
وأبان أن الوزارة تعمل على تطوير آليات الإبلاغ والرصد، وتوسيع نطاق الفحوصات الاستباقية، وتنفيذ حملات وطنية للتوعية بحقوق العاملين وواجبات أصحاب العمل، إلى جانب تقديم الدعم القانوني والنفسي والاجتماعي للضحايا المحتملين، مشيرًا إلى أن الوزارة نفذت خلال الربع الأول من عام 2025 أكثر من 61,500 فحص ميداني، واستقبلت 124 بلاغًا، مما يعكس فعالية أنظمة الرصد والاستجابة.
وأكد الراجحي أن الوزارة، بالتعاون مع الجهات الممثلة في اللجنة الوطنية لمكافحة جرائم الاتجار بالأشخاص، تعمل على تنفيذ خطة وطنية شاملة، تشمل بناء القدرات، وتطوير أدوات الحماية والإحالة، مشددًا على أن جهود المملكة في هذا الملف تنبع من التزامها الراسخ بمبادئ العدالة وحقوق الإنسان، وضمن مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030، التي تضع الإنسان في صميم التنمية وسياسات الحماية.
The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Engineer Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Rajhi, praised the integration of national efforts to combat human trafficking crimes, emphasizing that the Kingdom has given this issue the utmost importance through a legislative and executive system based on the principles of Islamic law, which aligns with international standards, and aims to protect human beings and preserve their dignity, ensuring a fair and safe working environment.
On the occasion of the World Day Against Human Trafficking, he clarified that this crime is one of the most severe violations of human rights, necessitating a comprehensive institutional response that begins with prevention, moves through protection, and ends with accountability. He pointed out that the ministry has adopted a set of policies and programs to combat it, the most prominent of which is the adoption of the "National Policy to Combat Forced Labor," as the first policy of its kind in the Gulf countries, which aims to eliminate the most prominent forms of trafficking by enhancing decent working conditions, empowering the most vulnerable groups to exploitation, and providing a regulatory environment that ensures justice and non-discrimination.
He indicated that the ministry is working on developing reporting and monitoring mechanisms, expanding the scope of proactive inspections, and implementing national awareness campaigns regarding the rights of workers and the duties of employers, in addition to providing legal, psychological, and social support to potential victims. He noted that the ministry conducted more than 61,500 field inspections during the first quarter of 2025 and received 124 reports, reflecting the effectiveness of the monitoring and response systems.
Al-Rajhi confirmed that the ministry, in cooperation with the entities represented in the National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking Crimes, is working to implement a comprehensive national plan that includes capacity building and the development of protection and referral tools, stressing that the Kingdom's efforts in this file stem from its firm commitment to the principles of justice and human rights, and within the targets of Vision 2030, which places the human being at the heart of development and protection policies.
