وبحثا، خلال الاستقبال، سبل التعاون الثنائي في مجالات الإعلام، لا سيما في الإنتاج البرامجي والتلفزيوني، وتبادل المحتوى والخبرات الإعلامية، إضافة إلى مناقشة فرص التدريب الإعلامي المشترك بين البلدين.
واتُّفِق على مشاركة الهيئة بعدد من برامجها الإعلامية لتعريف الشعب السريلانكي بالمملكة، وتسليط الضوء على رؤيتها الطموحة ومشاريعها المستقبلية، بما يعزز التقارب الثقافي بين الشعبين الصديقين.
وتطرّق الجانبان، إلى مشاركة سفارة جمهورية سريلانكا في النسخة المقبلة من المنتدى السعودي للإعلام، وأهمية تعزيز الحضور الدولي للمنتدى الذي يُعدّ الحدث الإعلامي الأكبر على مستوى المنطقة.

The CEO of the Saudi Broadcasting Authority, Mohammed Fahd Al-Harithi, received the Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom, Amir Ajood.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the fields of media, particularly in program and television production, content exchange, and media expertise, in addition to discussing opportunities for joint media training between the two countries.
It was agreed that the authority would share a number of its media programs to introduce the Sri Lankan people to the Kingdom, highlighting its ambitious vision and future projects, which would enhance cultural closeness between the two friendly nations.
The two sides also addressed the participation of the Embassy of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in the upcoming edition of the Saudi Media Forum and the importance of enhancing the international presence of the forum, which is considered the largest media event in the region.
