أعلنت وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة تمديد مُهلة الحصول على رُخص استخدام مصادر المياه الجوفية (الآبار) لمختلف الأغراض، لمدة عامٍ واحد، تنتهي في 5 صفر 1448هـ؛ وذلك حرصاً على تيسير إجراءات حصول المستفيدين على الرخص، ومنحهم وقتاً إضافياً لاستكمال طلباتهم، منوّهةً بأهمية الالتزام بالشروط والضوابط المنظمة.
وأكدت الوزارة أن المُهلة لا تشمل رخص الاستخدام للشركات الزراعية المحلية، وكبار المزارعين المرخص لهم بزراعة القمح، إضافةً إلى رخص استخدام المياه المرتبطة بأنشطة تخضع لإشراف الهيئة السعودية للمياه، والهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء، مثل: أشياب المياه الصالحة وغير الصالحة للشرب، ومصانع المياه المعبأة؛ إذ تخضع للضوابط الخاصة بكل جهة مرخّصة للنشاط، وفقاً لاختصاصها.
ودَعت الوزارة المستفيدين، من الأفراد، والقطاع الحكومي، وقطاع الأعمال، والقطاع غير الربحي؛ إلى المسارعة بالتقديم للحصول على رخص استخدام مياه الآبار، عبر بوابة «نما» الإلكترونية، والاستفادة من المهلة الجديدة الممنوحة لهم؛ حرصاً على استمرارية أنشطتهم، وتفادي العقوبات التي ينص عليها نظام المياه ولائحته التنفيذية.

The Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture announced the extension of the deadline for obtaining licenses to use groundwater sources (wells) for various purposes for one additional year, ending on 5 Safar 1448 AH; this is to facilitate the procedures for beneficiaries to obtain licenses and to give them extra time to complete their applications, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the organized conditions and regulations.
The ministry confirmed that the extension does not include usage licenses for local agricultural companies and large licensed farmers for wheat cultivation, in addition to water usage licenses related to activities supervised by the Saudi Water Authority and the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, such as: water filling stations for both potable and non-potable water, and bottled water factories; as they are subject to the specific regulations of each licensed entity according to its jurisdiction.
The ministry urged beneficiaries, including individuals, the government sector, the business sector, and the non-profit sector, to quickly apply for licenses to use well water through the electronic portal "Namaa," and to take advantage of the new extension granted to them; in order to ensure the continuity of their activities and to avoid the penalties stipulated by the water law and its executive regulations.
