بعد أن أعلنت المنصة الوطنية للقبول الموحد (قبول) أسماء المقبولين والمقبولات رسمياً في مقاعد الدراسة بالجامعات الحكومية وكليات التدريب التقني والمهني للعام الدراسي الجديد تعرض المنصة اعتباراً من (الخميس) الفرص الإضافية لمن لم يتم قبولهم كليّاً أو من تم قبولهم على رغبات غير رغبتهم الأولى.
وبينت وزارة التعليم أن الفرص الإضافية تمثّل المرحلة الرابعة والأخيرة من أعمال المنصة، وخلالها سيتلقى الطلبة إشعارات في حال توفرت لهم فرص أعلى، ويُتاح لهم أحد الخيارين: إما تأكيد القبول الجديد أو اختيار «لا أرغب وسأنتظر فرصة أفضل» خلال الفترة المحددة للفرص الإضافيّة. مشيرة إلى أن الفرص الإضافية تمنح وفق ترتيب الرغبات المدخلة مُسبقاً من المتقدمين والمتقدمات، ومن لم يتم قبولهم في أي من رغباتهم، وظهرت لهم رسالة تفيد بعدم وجود مقعد متاح وعليهم متابعة المنصة خلال فترة الفرص الإضافية، فقد تُتاح رغبات جديدة وفقاً للمقاعد الشاغرة الناتجة عن انسحاب بعض المتقدمين.
After the National Unified Admission Platform (Qabul) officially announced the names of the accepted students for the new academic year in government universities and technical and vocational training colleges, the platform will start offering additional opportunities from (Thursday) for those who were not accepted at all or who were accepted into choices other than their first preference.
The Ministry of Education indicated that the additional opportunities represent the fourth and final phase of the platform's operations. During this phase, students will receive notifications if higher opportunities become available to them, and they will have one of two options: either confirm the new acceptance or choose "I do not wish to accept and will wait for a better opportunity" during the specified period for additional opportunities. It pointed out that additional opportunities are granted according to the order of preferences previously entered by applicants, and those who were not accepted in any of their preferences and received a message indicating that there is no available seat must continue to monitor the platform during the additional opportunities period, as new preferences may become available based on the vacant seats resulting from the withdrawal of some applicants.
