أمير جازان يدشن «ما يفقد لا يُسترد»

The Emir of the Jazan Region, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, inaugurated today in his office the initiative "What is Lost Cannot Be Regained," which is implemented by the Health Ministry branch in Jazan with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of preventing eye diseases and preserving the blessing of sight.

The initiative, which was launched in the presence of the Director General of the Health Ministry branch in Jazan, Dr. Awaji bin Qasim Al-Naimi, targets all segments of society through field awareness programs that include government agencies, commercial centers, and schools, and will continue until the end of 2025.

The initiative includes stations for vision acuity testing, specialized diagnostic clinics, and consultation sessions with a selection of doctors, in addition to visual and educational presentations that highlight the most dangerous eye diseases such as "glaucoma," diabetic retinopathy, hereditary retinal diseases, and the importance of early detection.

According to the Health Ministry branch in Jazan, this initiative is part of its efforts to promote a culture of prevention and enhance regular eye examinations, based on the belief that sight is a precious blessing and "what is lost cannot be regained."

On another note, the Emir of the Jazan Region honored the team working on the commitment platform on the occasion of the Jazan Emirate achieving a (100%) score in the "Quality of Employment Data" indicator on the "Commitment" platform for the second quarter of 2025.

The honorees expressed their gratitude to the Emir of the region for his continuous support for the platform's team.
