Al-Bouainin to the Ministry of Sports: Governance and privatization are essential
Council member Fadl bin Saad Al-Bouainin confirmed that the governance of the sports sector, both administratively and financially, is one of the major challenges that clubs have not been able to overcome. He considered financial sustainability and governance as two of the most important objectives of the sports project, and called for achieving spending efficiency in sports clubs, which enhances the sustainable impact on establishing academies and nurturing national talents that feed the Saudi teams and achieve championships in continental and international competitions.
He looked forward to organizing the Saudi Super Cup in Saudi cities to stimulate tourism, and suggested that the cities of Abha and Taif could host the championship competitions, which would support the economies of the two cities, stimulate domestic tourism, and allow Saudi and Gulf fans to watch the competitions.

Al-Areeshi to the Ministry of Health: Motivate doctors in peripheral hospitals
Council member Dr. Aisha bint Ali Al-Areeshi stated in her intervention on the Ministry of Health's report that nearly 73 hospitals that met the basic requirements for patient safety are "modest," although the percentage is higher than the targeted value during the reporting year. She called on the ministry to raise its expectations and double its efforts to ensure that all hospitals meet the basic requirements for patient safety.
She observed that the rank of resident doctor represents the highest percentage and the lowest percentage of localization, and she looked forward to the inauguration of the Jazan Specialized Hospital contributing to the advancement of the health sector in the region, reducing the referral rates for critical cases and chronic diseases, and the transportation and flight costs borne by the government. Al-Areeshi called for giving more attention to peripheral areas, especially regarding medical competencies and specialized staff, and suggested studying the establishment of incentives for health staff working in specialized hospitals in peripheral areas.
