رعى أمير منطقة نجران الأمير جلوي بن عبدالعزيز بن مساعد، انطلاق فعاليات مهرجان صيف نجران بمحافظة بدر الجنوب، الذي تنظمه أمانة المنطقة تحت شعار «صيفنا هايل»، بحضور الأمير عبدالله بن جلوي بن عبدالعزيز، والأمير فيصل بن جلوي بن عبدالعزيز، وذلك بمتنزه الأمير مشعل بن سعود بالمحافظة.
وفور وصوله لمقر الحفل، دشّن مبادرة جمعية نجران الخضراء لتوزيع (1000) شتلة من أشجار القرض مجانًا لزراعتها في المحافظة، كما أطلق بجناح صحة نجران دراسة المزايا التنافسية للسياحة العلاجية في محافظة بدر الجنوب.
وتجول أمير نجران في المعارض المصاحبة للفعاليات التي اشتملت على أجنحة لعدد من الجهات الحكومية والأهلية والخاصة، مطلعًا على ما تحتويه من خدمات ومنتجات زراعية، وصناعية، وصحية.
وأوضح أمين منطقة نجران المهندس صالح الغامدي، أن أمانة المنطقة ممثلة في بلدية محافظة بدر الجنوب عملت على تسخير جميع إمكاناتها من أجل تجهيز المواقع والأماكن الترفيهية والسياحية التي توفر لسكان وزوار المحافظة كل وسائل الراحة والترفيه.
وشاهد أمير نجران والحضور عروضًا للفرسان بالخيل العربية اشتملت على مسيرة الخيل، و«التقاط الأوتاد»، و«قفز الحواجز»، فيما قدمت فرقة الفنون الشعبية أوبريتًا بعنوان «بدر الجنوب».
وفي ختام الحفل كرّم أمير نجران الجهات الداعمة والمشاركة في فعاليات المهرجان.
The Prince of Najran, Prince Jalwa bin Abdulaziz bin Musaid, sponsored the launch of the Najran Summer Festival in the Governorate of Badr Al-Janoub, organized by the region's municipality under the slogan "Our Summer is Great," in the presence of Prince Abdullah bin Jalwa bin Abdulaziz and Prince Faisal bin Jalwa bin Abdulaziz, at the Prince Mishaal bin Saud Park in the governorate.
Upon his arrival at the event venue, he inaugurated the initiative of the Najran Green Association to distribute 1,000 seedlings of acacia trees for free to be planted in the governorate. He also launched a study on the competitive advantages of medical tourism in the Badr Al-Janoub governorate at the Najran Health booth.
The Prince of Najran toured the accompanying exhibitions of the events, which included pavilions from several governmental, charitable, and private entities, getting acquainted with the agricultural, industrial, and health services and products they offered.
The Secretary of the Najran region, Engineer Saleh Al-Ghamdi, explained that the municipality of Badr Al-Janoub worked to harness all its capabilities to prepare recreational and tourist sites that provide residents and visitors of the governorate with all means of comfort and entertainment.
The Prince of Najran and the attendees watched performances by horse riders featuring Arabian horses, including a horse parade, "tilting the stakes," and "show jumping," while the folklore troupe presented an operetta titled "Badr Al-Janoub."
At the end of the event, the Prince of Najran honored the supporting and participating entities in the festival activities.
