أنقذت فرق البحث والإنقاذ بحرس الحدود في الخُبر بالمنطقة الشرقية مواطنًا من الغرق أثناء ممارسة السباحة في منطقة غير مخصصة لذلك في شاطئ المحار، وتم تقديم المساعدة اللازمة له ونقله إلى المستشفى لتلقي الرعاية الطبية.
وأهابت المديرية العامة لحرس الحدود بالمتنزهين أخذ الحيطة والحذر واتباع إرشادات وتعليمات السلامة البحرية، والسباحة في الأماكن المخصصة لها، والاتصال بالرقمين (911) في مناطق مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة والشرقية، و(994) في بقية مناطق المملكة لطلب المساعدة في الحالات الطارئة.
The search and rescue teams of the Border Guard in Khobar, in the Eastern Province, rescued a citizen from drowning while swimming in an area not designated for that at Al-Muhar Beach. He was provided with the necessary assistance and transferred to the hospital for medical care.
The General Directorate of Border Guard urged recreational visitors to exercise caution and follow maritime safety guidelines and instructions, swim in designated areas, and contact the numbers (911) in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, and the Eastern Province, and (994) in the rest of the Kingdom's regions to request assistance in emergency situations.
