وجّهت وزارة الداخلية السعودية ضربة أمنية استباقية موجعة ضد مهربي المخدرات، بإحباط محاولة تهريب أكثر من (5000000) قرص من مادة الأمفيتامين المخدرة، مخبأة في أدوات مائدة من زجاج وبورسلان، بداخل حاوية قادمة من إحدى الدول لدولة لبنان.
وأعلن المتحدث الأمني لوزارة الداخلية العقيد طلال بن عبدالمحسن بن شلهوب، أنه في ضوء المتابعة الأمنية الاستباقية لنشاطات الشبكات الإجرامية التي تمتهن تهريب المخدرات، أحبطت وزارة الداخلية ممثلة في المديرية العامة لمكافحة المخدرات من خلال معلومات قدمتها لشعبة مكافحة المخدرات في جمارك جمهورية لبنان، محاولة تهريب أكثر من (5000000) قرص من مادة الأمفيتامين المخدرة.
ونوّه المتحدث الأمني، بالتعاون الإيجابي مع الجهات المختصة بالجمهورية اللبنانية في متابعة وضبط المواد المخدرة، مؤكداً أن المملكة مستمرة في متابعة النشاطات الإجرامية التي تستهدف أمن المملكة وشبابها بالمخدرات، والتصدي لها وإحباطها، والقبض على المتورطين فيها.
The Saudi Ministry of Interior has launched a painful preemptive security strike against drug traffickers by thwarting an attempt to smuggle more than (5,000,000) pills of the narcotic substance amphetamine, hidden in glass and porcelain tableware, inside a container coming from one of the countries to Lebanon.
The security spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, Colonel Talal bin Abdul Mohsen bin Shalhoub, announced that, in light of the proactive security monitoring of the activities of criminal networks engaged in drug trafficking, the Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate for Drug Control, thwarted an attempt to smuggle more than (5,000,000) pills of the narcotic substance amphetamine through information provided to the Drug Control Department at the Customs of the Republic of Lebanon.
The security spokesman highlighted the positive cooperation with the relevant authorities in the Lebanese Republic in monitoring and seizing narcotic substances, affirming that the Kingdom continues to monitor criminal activities targeting the security of the Kingdom and its youth with drugs, to confront and thwart them, and to arrest those involved.
